Abstract

Procedimiento para medir parámetros en suspensiones de partículas de mayor peso específico que el líquido, por medio de sondas de medición en el interior de un recipiente de paso, situado en posición vertical y con forma de cono truncado, de corriente remansada, caracterizado porque la corriente de la suspensión que ha de medirse se introduce tangencialmente por el extremo inferior en el recipiente de paso y se evacúa tangencialmente por el extremo superior en el mismo sentido de giro, disminuyendo de abajo hacia arriba de manera helicoidal la velocidad angular de la corriente ascendente, y, para las partículas de mayor peso específico de la suspensión, siendo mayor que la componente gravitatoria la componente de la fuerza centrífuga paralelamente a la pared del recipiente.
