Abstract

Flow meter for the administration of oxygen and any other gases, consisting of a monobloc body 24 principally provided with compressible retractable means 30 and with locking or catching means 34-35 which can be grooved and tongued so as to provide, by virtue of a controlled rotation movement, the positions for communication with the mouthpiece for delivery of the fluid 18 controlled by a valve group or assembly 13, and provided with two passages 19-22 for selected administration communicating, respectively, with a radial outlet 20 for the administration of dry gas, and with a direct outlet via a connector (coupling) 26 provided with a humidifying vessel for the administration of humidified gas, in such a way that they can be selected at random by simply pulling back and rotating the selector body 24. It is applicable to the selection nozzles for the administration of humidified or dry medical gases, depending on the medical requirements in question.
