Improvements to machines processing pieces of fabric. Comprises three motors driven and controlled hydraulically from a pressure unit and controlled electronically by means of a microprocessor. The motors are mounted in parallel, one of them acting as a puller and the other as a brake, it being possible to switch from one of these to a third, in either of the two directions of movement. Sensors in one of the passage rollers connected to a microprocessor are included for control of the speed of the fabric. A hydraulic sensor connected to the pressure unit is provided for the control of tension. Uniform and stable speed and tension are achieved at all times.
