PROCEDIMIENTO Y DISPOSITIVO PARA LA DISMINUCION DEL MONOXIDO DE CARBONO, OXIDOS DE NITROGENO E HIDROCARBUROS CONTENIDOS EN LOS GASES DE ESCAPE DE MOTORES ENDOTERMICOS. SE TRATAN LOS GASES EN TRES FASES SUCESIVAS, PRIMERO SE HACEN PASAR, POR UNA MASA DE CARBON ACTIVADO, EN BASE A HULLA SUB-BITUMINOSA, IMPREGNADA CON UN COMPUESTO HALOGENADO A BASE DE CLORO O BROMO, LUEGO HACIENDOLOS PASAR A TRAVES DE UNA MASA ANALOGA, IMPREGNADA POR UNA SUSTANCIA TIPO ACIDO DE LEWIS, Y FINALMENTE SE HACEN CIRCULAR A TRAVES DE UNA MASA ANALOGA, IMPREGNADA CON UNA SUSTANCIA TIPO BASE DE LEWIS.
