Abstract
Case made from an initial piece 10 which includes a rear panel 14, a lower panel 12 and a front panel 16 which are hinged together along two fold lines 22, 24. A pair of lateral panels 18, 20 extend from the opposite sides of the lower panel. The lateral panels each have a flange 48 which extends perpendicularly to the principal plane of the sides and a pair of retention projections 50 in the form of a hook which face the flanges. Openings 52 are formed in the rear panel for receiving the retention projection. A trestle panel 70 is formed in order to be deployed outside the rear and lower panels in order to support the display case on a flat surface. The display case is formed from an injection-moulded, preferably transparent rigid plastic material.
