Abstract

Improved attachment clamp for overhead cables, particularly overhead electrical cables, composed of a component having a longitudinal passageway open on one of its faces and of decreasing cross-section inside which there slide two wedge-shaped components 7, 7 of complementary configuration which trap between them an overhead cable 9 suspended by suspension means 12, characterised in that the component 1 consists of an extruded metal section equipped with a longitudinal passage 2 with uniform cross-section over its entire length inside which are housed two pairs of moulded components, namely a pair of intermediate lining components 4, 4 which fit into the metal component 1 and between them define an intermediate passage 5 with a cross-section which decreases towards the rear end, and between which the other pair of wedge-shaped components 7, 7 which trap the cable 9 are fitted by axial sliding.
