LA LIXIVIACION DE SOLIDOS AURIFEROS, TALES COMO MINERALES POBRES TRITURADOS O MATERIALES RECUPERADOS DE RESIDUOS MUY VIEJOS, SE PUEDE EFECTUAR CON UNA SOLUCION ACUOSA DILUIDA DE UN CIANURO ALCALINO, PERO EL GRADO Y/O LA VELOCIDAD DE RECUPERACION DEL ORO SE VE PERJUDICADA POR LAS CONDICIONES ANAEROBICAS O REDUCTORAS QUE PUEDEN EXISTIR EN ESOS MONTONES, ESPECIALMENTE EN LA BASE Y SUS PROXIMIDADES, Y/O POR EL ESCASO SUMINISTRO DE OXIGENO EN LA LIXIVIACION POR AGITACION. LA VELOCIDAD Y/O EL GRADO DE RECUPERACION DE ORO EN LA LIXIVIACION DE MONTONES PUEDE INCREMENTARSE Y EL SUMINISTRO DE OXIGENO PUEDE CONTROLARSE SENCILLAMENTE MEDIANTE LA LIBERACION LENTA EN LA LIXIVIACION POR AGITACION, MANTENIMIENTO POR LO DEMAS CONDICIONES IDENTICAS, EMPLEANDO UNA CANTIDAD EFICAZ DE UN PEROXIDO METALICO SOLIDO POCO SOLUBLE, QUE SE DISUELVA LENTAMENTE, YA SEA INCORPORANDOLO DENTRO DEL MONTON O EN LA MEZCLA DE SOLIDOS AURIFEROS YLIXIVIANTE.
