LAS MEJORAS SON APLICABLES EN LOS DIQUES ROMPEOLAS (1) FORMADOS BASICAMENTE POR UN NUCLEO (3), UNAS CAPAS DE FILTRO (4) Y UN MANTO PRINCIPAL (5), ESTE ULTIMO COMO ELEMENTO FUNDAMENTAL QUE PROTEGE AL CUERPO GENERAL DEL DIQUE DE LA ROTURA DE LAS OLAS. LAS MEJORAS CONSISTEN EN DOTAR A LA ESTRUCTURA DEL DIQUE DE UNA MAYOR FIABILIDAD Y RESISTENCIA, Y ELLO EN BASE A AUMENTAR EL ESPESOR DEL MANTO PRINCIPAL (5), EN CORRESPONDENCIA CON LA ZONA DONDE LOS NIVELES (6 Y 7) DEL MAR, DEPENDIENDO DE LA MAREA, CORTAN AL PERFIL EXTERIOR (8) DEL CITADO MANTO (5) Y CUYO MAYOR ESPESOR DETERMINA UN REFUERZO (10) DE PERFIL INTERIOR CONCAVO HACIA EL MAR, BIEN SEA ANGULAR, TRUNCADO, CURVO, ETC., MIENTRAS QUE EL PERFIL EXTERIOR (8) DEL PROPIO MANTO (5) ES UNIFORME.
