Abstract

The invention relates to plant growth regulators and proposes the use of di-isopropyl-naphalene as a plant growth regulator which can be used to treat seed, tubers, rhizomes, (seed) to delay germination of the seed during the storage phase and/or to produce rapid and vigorous germination and growth during the growing phase. The di-isopropyl-naphalenes, can be formulated for application by any of the known methods for treating seed, plants or growing medium.
