EL PROCEDIMIENTO SE CARACTERIZA POR UNA PRIMERA FASE DE SEPARACION DEL SOPORTE DE UNA BOBINA DE PAPEL AUTOADHESIVO NORMAL. EN UNA SEGUNDA FASE Y MEDIANTE TINTA ESPECIAL SE IMPRIMEN LAS ZONAS EN LAS QUE SE QUIERE ANULAR EL ADHESIVO. EN UNA TERCERA FASE SE UNE LA CINTA CONTINUA CON SUPERFICIE PARCIALMENTE AUTOADHESIVA CON UNA CINTA SOPORTE PROTECTORA. EN UNA CUARTA FASE SE IMPRIME LA CARA EXTERIOR DE LA ENVOLVENTE Y EN UNA QUINTA FASE SE CORTA LA ENVOLVENTE INDIVIDUALIZANDOLA PARA SU APLICACION.
