Abstract
Un método para expulsar fundas de metal ligero para cables, en el cual un trozo de cable es alimentado diametralmente a través del ánima del recipiente para el techo de una prensa de extrusión, que comprende introducir sucesivamente una pluralidad de techos macizos axialmente dentro del ánima de dicho recipiente y expulsar los techos uno tras otro en torno del cable, siendo cada techo sólo parcialmente expulsado y quedando su porción no expulsada dentro del ánima del recipietne de modo que pueda soldarse por sí misma al techo siguiendo introducido en dicho recipiente con lo cual se forma un recubrimiento contínuo en torno del cable.
