Abstract

The invention relates to a multi-part oil wiper ring which is composed of two annuli with strips and of a curved spacing spring washer made from a material in sheet form arranged between them, having a U-shaped transverse section open towards the inside for axial bearing and axial flexion of the branch ends so that the annuli with strips can press radially against the wall of the cylinder. According to the invention, the two branches 3 of the spacing spring washer 1 are pressed against one another until they mutually contact and bear against one another. The invention applies especially to internal combustion engines.
