Abstract

The fastener includes two locking elements. The first element includes a recessed portion defined by raised walls at sides and a front end. A transverse aperture passes into a recessed portion with a transverse ledge portion provided immediately adjacent the aperture at a forward end of the recessed portion. The second locking element has a forward body portion and extends into a tail portion. The arrangement is such that in use an end of the second element is passed through the transverse aperture in the first element and then engaged within the recessed portion of the first element. - A forward end of the second element rests on and is in abutment with the transverse ledge portion. The tail portion of the second element extends through the open rear end of the first element. Movement of the tail portion of the second element outwardly and away from the first element causing the forward end of the second element to pivot on and relative to the ledge portion, it then passes through the transverse aperture to release and disengage the elements one form the other.
