Abstract
Procedimiento para recubrir un metal con otro, caracterizado porque se empaquetan y cierran herméticamente en una retorta de acero inoxidable las piezas a cromizar (usualmente de hierro y acero), una vez totalmente terminadas de todos los procesos mecánicos y el metal con que se les ha de recubrir ( en general cromo ), que puede ser éste mismo o sus aleaciones, en polvo, mineral del miso u otro compuesto conveniente, así como también otras substancias, tales como alúmina, porcelana, u otras apropiadas para hacer la empaquetadura debidamente esponjosa.
