Abstract

Sistema combinado para la simplificación de la maniobra de cambio de velocidad para automóviles caracterizado por estar constituido por aplicar los amortiguadores hidráulicos de la suspensión del automóvil cualquiera que sea la forma y sistema (17 Hoja 1ª) a un nuevo fin en el que es útil la propiedad de estos de hacer que fuerzas considerables se desarrollen y apliquen paulatinamente para conseguir un embrague suave progresivo aunque se suelte el pedal de pronto mediante la adecuada unión del brazo de acción 82 de dichos amortiguadores en forma adecuada a la palanca del pedal de embrague (79 Hoja 1ª) y regulando la mayor o menor resitencia de dicho amortiguador a los muelles del embrague haciendo que el calibre del orificio para el paso del líquido tenga una regulación automática según las revoluciones del motor por medio de un regulador centrífugo (13-Hoja 1ª) que se monta sobre la carcasa del embrague y que venciendo a sus muelles más o menos según las revoluciones del motor actua por medio de su collar giratorio (14 Hoja 1ª) y vástago (15 Hoja 1ª) cerrando la válvula de paso (16 Fig. 1ª) que estrecha el calibre del orificio permanente del amortiguador; con lo cual se consigue un embrague suave y progresivo cualquiera que sea la aceleración; dicho efecto también se obtiene mandando la válvula que estrecha el orifico permanente (16 Hoja 1ª) mediante el varillaje del acelerador que tiende a cerrar dicha válvula cuando se acelera.
