Abstract
Aparato seccionador de aislamiento para líneas de contacto de trolebuses y tranvías constituido esencialmente por dos piezas extremas o cabezales de fundición maleable unidas entre sí por dos barras o varillas paralelas de acero u otro material dispuestas en un mismo plano vertical y acopladas rígidamente a los cabezales con interposición de piezas de material aislante efectuándose dicho acoplamiento en la barra superior por medio de un bloque o pieza de material aislante que tiene dos tuercas incrustadas en la masa fijándose a una de ellas el extremo fileteado de la barra y a la otra un tornillo de unión del aislador con el cabezal mientras que la barra inferior está provista en sus extremos de sendos tacos de material aislante que se introducen directamente en cavidad apropiada del cabezal mientras quedan fijados a los mismos por medios adecuados con lo cual quedan eléctricamente ajustados los dos cabezales y las secciones de cable de contacto que sostienen completándose el conjunto rígido así formado por una pieza o listón de madera o material moldeable fijado convenientemente en la parte inferior entre ambos cabezales.Isolation sectioning device for trolleybus and tram contact lines consisting essentially of two end pieces or heads of malleable cast iron joined together by two parallel bars or rods of steel or other material arranged in the same vertical plane and rigidly coupled to the heads with interposition of pieces of insulating material, said coupling being effected in the upper bar by means of a block or piece of insulating material that has two nuts embedded in the mass, the threaded end of the bar being fixed to one of them and to the other a connecting screw of the insulator with the head while the lower bar is provided at its ends with individual plugs of insulating material that are inserted directly into the appropriate cavity of the head while being fixed thereto by suitable means whereby the two heads and the sections are electrically adjusted. of contact cable that support completing the set rigid thus formed by a piece or strip of wood or moldable material conveniently fixed in the lower part between both heads.
