Abstract
Un procedimiento para hacer una hoja de papel a partir de una suspensión acuosa de material fibroso que comprende la operación de añadir a dicha suspensión después de que todas las operaciones destinadas a modificar los constituyentes fibrosos por medios mecánicos han sido terminadas y antes de la formación de la hoja una solución acuosa preparada por calentamiento de una mezcla de goma de algarroba un borato y un material ácido que comprende al menos uno de los ingredientes siguientes glioxal aldehido pirúvico cloruro de amonio ácido cítrico ácido bórico y sulfato de aluminio.
