Abstract

Cuerpo de contacto para humectadores de aire(1) a través del cual se hace pasar una corriente de aire de manera sustancialmente horizontal y se hace que entre en contacto directo con un líquido que atraviesa el cuerpo de contacto (2), que incluye unas hojas onduladas (9) de un material de contacto, dispuestas en posiciones adyacentes las unas a las otras en el plano vertical paralelamente a la dirección de circulación del aire, estando dichas hojas montadas alternativamente con sus ondulaciones (10a y 10b, respectivamente) orientadas en direcciones diferentes, de modo que entre las hojas se formen pasillos de circulación para el aire y el líquido, caracterizado porque una de cada dos hojas (9). en el borde (90) por donde la corriente de aire abandona el cuerpo de contacto, se extiende, en la dirección horizontal, a una distancia mayor que la hoja adyacente (9b).
