Abstract

Escalera portátil plegable que comprende una escalera dotada de montantes laterales que soportan una serie de peldaños horizontales o travesaños, un soporte posterior articulado en la parte superior de la mencionada escalera según un eje horizontal, siendo móvil dicho sopor te ante las posiciones de abertura y cierre con respecto a la escalera, caracterizándose dicha estructura por el hecho de que tanto la escalera como el soporte posterior se hallan divididos longitudinalmente en dos partes articuladas entre si de forma que la articulación se halle en un plano común a fin de consentir a la estructura de la escalera en su condición de cierre el que pueda plegarse longitudinalmente sobre si misma.
