A sealing valve assembly comprising in combination: an elongated section of cylindrical pipe having a normal inside diameter; a valve body formed of an elongate cylinder of flexible plastic, said cylindrical body being dimensioned for its longitudinal insertion fitted inside the pipe section, the body having an axial bore which facilitates opposite inlet and outlet openings and also having a transverse perforation between said openings to facilitate a chamber for the shutter of the valve, said chamber having its opposite ends open diametrically to the body; a pair of opposed openings in the wall of the pipe, each tub being of said openings in coincidence with an open end of the chamber for the shutter; an elongate obturator for the valve axially rotatable in the chamber of the body and with a plug hole for coinciding with the holes in the valve body, said obturator having the opposite ends protruding through the aforementioned openings in the wall of the pipe; means at one end of the obturator for transmitting a rotation to the obturator, the remaining end of the obturator having a reduced diameter to facilitate an annular protrusion, said cylindrical plastic body having an annular seat at the bottom of the chamber for the obturator; the seat receives said shoulder, and the reduced end facilitates a threaded stud to receive a locking nut to limit axial movement of the plug in one direction.
