Claims

1. - Accessory for playing basketball, which can be installed on a board (2) with a basket (3) and includes a net (5) with which the ball is redirected towards the front shooting area, is characterized by including:

- a fence (4) that defines an arc of circumference and incorporates the net (5) that hangs from it, which fence (4) is sized to cover, between its ends (4a), approximately the width of the board (2) and to be placed surrounding the basket (3) at an equidistant distance, having at said ends (4a) respective tubular coupling elements (6);

- two support beams (7) which are coupled, in a removable manner, inserted into the respective coupling tubular elements (6) at the ends of the frame (4) in a sliding manner and have hooking means (8) at their upper end (7a), suitable for hanging them resting on the upper edge of the board (2); and

- two ropes (9) or similar filiform element, removable to be incorporated into the crossbars (7) and provided at a first end (9a) with a snap hook (10) or similar hooking element and at the opposite end with a grip section (9b), allowing, by pulling them, to raise the fence (4) on the crossbars (7) to bring it to the height of the basket (3), by holding the snap hook (10) at one end (4a) of the fence (4), to pass through the upper end (7a) of the corresponding crossbar (7) and extend from said upper end (7a) into the grip section (9a) at the rear of the board (2).

2. - Accessory for playing basketball, according to claim 1, characterized in that both the fence (4) that incorporates the net (5) and the support beams (7) are made up of multiple removable segments without the need for the use of tools.

3. - Accessory for playing basketball, according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the net (5) defines a tubular shape open at the bottom and towards the front.

4. - Accessory for playing basketball, according to any of the preceding claims, characterized in that the net (5) is of the elastic type.

5.- Accessory for playing basketball, according to any of the preceding claims, characterized in that the tubular coupling elements (6) provided at the ends (4a) of the fence (4) are defined by respective tube segments (6) that are fixed perpendicularly to the plane of the fence (4), the internal space of said tubes (6) having a diameter suitable for accommodating the diameter of the crossbars (7) through them.

6.- Accessory for playing basketball, according to claim 5, characterized in that, between the ends (4a) of the fence (4) and said tubular coupling elements (6), there are provided reinforcing straps (12) which, in turn, serve to fix the carabiner (10) of the lifting ropes (9) thereon.

7.- Accessory for playing basketball, according to any of the preceding claims, characterized in that the hooking means (8) of the upper end (7a) of the holding crossbars (7) are defined by a horizontal member (8a) and a vertical extension (8b) which, joined to said upper end (7a) of the crossbar (7), define an inverted U shape suitable for fitting on the upper edge of the backboard (2).

8.- Accessory for playing basketball, according to claim 7, characterized in that said horizontal (8a) and vertical (8b) members are internally hollow tubes connected to each other, such that the lifting cable (9) is inserted through them.
