Abstract

Articulated, removable, reusable and adaptable framing device for pictures or laminar motifs, achieving by fixing and fastening a flexible tape on the parts that constitute said device; and, consequently, the conformation of the corresponding framework. This device is made up of: A. Three pairs of PP main pieces for fixing and folding the tape (Fig. 1.a), (1.b), (1.c), (2.a), (2.b), (3. a), (3.b), (4.a), (4.b), (5.a) and (5.b) and a pair of PP main parts for fixing and collecting the tape reel (Fig. . 6.a) and (6.b). All PP parts are made up of: - A compact body (c) with rectangular and "L" shaped sides that rests on the edge or edge of the painting or motif. (Fig. 1.a) and (1.b), overlapping in part, due to the effect of its "L" shape, with the anterior face of the painting or motif. Said superposition would typically be about 5 mm, and would favor the fastening of the frame or motif to the pieces and that this new, once the tape is extended; Cover, as traditional frames also do for aesthetic reasons, a small rectangular band of the picture or motif adjacent to its edges. - A curved sheet (I) joined at its lower end to the compact body (c). (Fig. 1.a), (1.b) and (1.c). For stability purposes, it rests on another point of its curved surface on a projection that has the compact body (c) (Fig. 1.c). This sheet with a vertically curved surface, has certain folds at its lower and upper ends, suitable for forming two longitudinal clamps (Fig. 1.c), in which the belt would slide under pressure and would be clamped and tensioned, respectively, the lower and upper ends of it. As for its sides, the lower and upper ones are straight and horizontal, while on the lateral sides, the one that is close to the square angle, once the PP piece has been placed in the corner of the frame or motif, is curved but seen frontally it appears straight with an inclination of 45º with respect to horizontality or verticality, and, the opposite lateral side, is also curved and seen frontally it appears vertical. (Fig. 1.a), (1.b), (1.c), (2.a), (2.b), (3.a) and (3.b). - A connecting piece (Fig. 4.a) and (4.b), which is flat (sheet with a certain thickness) and its sides have an arrangement that facilitates placement and joining with the PP pieces in the square of the frame or reason. The shape of this connecting piece is inscribed in a square and is symmetrical with respect to one of the diagonals of said hypothetical square, in such a way that it is also symmetrical in relation to the diagonal of the picture or motif in whose corner it is going to be located . The connecting piece has on its front face two springs with a circular cross section that end in a cylindrical shoe-type piece centered with respect to the longitudinal axis of said springs and with a section equal to or somewhat greater than theirs. And, on the other hand, it has two thyme holes that cross it from the posterior to the anterior side. Both the springs and the holes are placed in the ideal place so that the union with the PP parts is correct. The screws with which the main PP pieces are fixed, through the connecting pieces, to the frame or pattern; in turn they present, outside the coiling surface, two cylindrical holes that cross them in a transverse direction. In addition, the PP pieces for fixing and folding the tape have: - A cylindrical body tensioning element (t) (Fig. 1.a) and (1.c), arranged on the rear face of the sheet (I), which incorporates a spiral spring, to rotate by spring tension, a tongue up to a stop that is in the sheet (I) also on its back side. The edge of the tongue next to the sheet (I) has the same curvature as said sheet, so that it rotates without touching the surface of the sheet. On the other hand, the union piece of the PP pieces for fixing and collecting the reel carry: - Two clamps and two clamp washers (Fig. 6.a) and (6.b), a clamp and a washer for each PP part of the pair, and which are located at the rear front of these pieces. The clamps have a laminar shape, they are fixed in the corresponding joining piece forming part of it, they are next to the slot between the two PP pieces parallel to said slot; and, they have the same curvature as the sheet (1). The washers are screwed to the connecting piece (whereby they have the corresponding screw holes), said washers being located in a centered position with respect to the midpoint of the transverse segment of the compact bodies (c). These washers are also curved, almost circular, lamellar in shape to better facilitate the collection of the cylindrical reel housings. B. Intermediate auxiliary pieces PI for clamping and intermediate tensioning of the belt (Fig. 7.a) and (7.b). These PI pieces have the same compact "L" shaped body that rests on the edge of the frame or motif and the curved sheet (I) that the PP pieces carry. In PI pieces, its sheet (I) does not have a 45º miter cut side, it is simply a square piece. The connecting piece of the PI pieces is a quadrangular sheet of a certain thickness that has a circular cross-section spring attached to its front side that ends in a cylindrical shoe-type piece centered with respect to the longitudinal axis of the spring and of equal or somewhat cross-section greater than that of the pier. C. Reel (Fig. 10.a) formed by two identical cylindrical housings in which a spiral spring is installed, which in turn is attached to each end of a single ribbon with a color marking. Each casing reels the exact half of the total length of the tape and that midpoint is marked on the tape itself. The housings incorporate a strap locking knob that allows the strap to be released from the tension exerted by the spring. (Machine-translation by Google Translate, not legally binding)
