Baldosa cerámica, en forma de placa de contorno preferentemente cuadrado, de pequeño grosor, caracterizada porque dispone de patillas o pestañas que sobresalen de sus caras laterales, a partir de la base inferior, y de huecos de altura igual al grosor de las patillas y anchura igual o mayor que la de dichas patillas, que quedan situados a igual altura que las patillas; cuyas patillas ocupan en cantos consecutivos posiciones enfrentadas a los huecos, de modo que al adosar lateralmente dos placas por cantos no coincidentes, las patillas de cada placa se introduzcan bajo la otra placa, a través de los huecos enfrentados de ésta.
