Un calentador eléctrico para herramientas, que está constituido esencialmente por un transformador de intensidad del cual el secundario presenta dos terminales que salen fuera de la tapa de cobertura -cuya distancia entre sí puede variar a voluntad por un mando convenientemente dispuesto- y entre los cuales se sujeta la herramienta o pieza a tratar, cerrándose con la misma dicho secundario, por lo que al conectarse el transformador se calentará la herramienta, presentando además el conjunto del aparato un cajón o recipiente saliente de su base, por la parte central, que queda debajo de los indicados terminales y en el que se dispone el líquido para el temple.
