Abstract

1. Pilar esférico perfeccionado para retención de sobredentaduras, compuesto por un dispositivo para retención de sobredentaduras, sobre implantes dentales, en el maxilar inferior, constituido por una corona pivotante ubicada sobre un implante (1),que sustenta una prótesis dental, estando caracterizado porque la citada corona pivotante se encuentra formada por una rótula (2), en su parte inferior sujeta por medios mecánicos al implante (1) y por su extremo superior acabada en forma de una superficie esférica, tras un tramo central cilíndrico ligeramente de menor diámetro, en la que se encuentra encastrada en dicha zona esférica un capuchón (3) hembra de teflón, que va cogido a la sobredentadura, pudiendo orientarse un cierto ángulo de unos 20º en todas las direcciones del espacio, permitiendo corregir disparalelismos en la inserción de prótesis dentales con respecto a los implantes.
