Abstract
1. Dispositivo apto para la higiene dental, que siendo del tipo de aplicadores de hilo dental se caracteriza esencialmente por estar compuesto de tres partes diferenciadas. Una primera parte consiste en un soporte sólido, de materia biocompatible, de forma preferentemente parabólica, alargada y flexible (C). Dicho soporte sirve, simultáneamente, para la sujeción del hilo dental propiamente dicho (A) y de mango de accionamiento apto para la aplicación. Una segunda parte consiste en la fijación, enlace, soldadura o arrollamiento del hilo dental propiamente dicho en los extremos, (B y B"''), del soporte parabólico descrito anteriormente. Dicha sujeción está realizada mediante arrollamiento o/y soldadura térmica u otro tipo de fijación técnicamente posible. La tercera parte de la que está formado el dispositivo que se pretende reivindicar, consiste en unas cápsulas de protección (D y D"'') que recubren, respectivamente, los enlaces, fijaciones, soldaduras o arrollamientos descritos en los extremos (B y B"''). Tales cápsulas son de materiales biocompatibles y absorbentes, siendo susceptibles de estar impregnadas con sustancias terapéuticas y/o higiénicas.
