Abstract

Fitted at one end with a clamp (3) for securing the arm to the structure and at the other end with another clamp, plate or similar, for securing the arm to the facade, it has a telescopic structure using two tubular sections (1) and (2) giving the arm a variable length. Longitudinal adjustment of the arm is by means of a pin (5) which passes through a single orifice in one of the sections of tube (1) and one of the multiple orifices (7) in the other tube (2) so that the effective length of the arm will depend on the orifice selected (7). The two tubes (1) and (2) making up the arm are joined permanently to one other by means of an internal chain or cable (14) which allows telescopic displacement but makes detachment impossible. The pin (5) is mounted on a bridge (6) which, though allowing axial mobility also prevents detachment and possible loss.
