Abstract

L'invention concerne une méthode de gestion de thérapie et/ou de pronostic de la progression, de la gravité et/ou de l'issue de la maladie d'un patient atteint d'une infection virale respiratoire. La méthode comprend les étapes suivantes : fournir un premier échantillon isolé dudit patient et un second échantillon isolé dudit patient à un moment donné après l'isolement du premier échantillon dudit patient, le premier et le second échantillon étant isolés dans les 96 h (4 jours) suivant la consultation du personnel médical, déterminer un niveau d'un ou de plusieurs biomarqueurs endothéliaux dans le premier et le second échantillon, le ou les biomarqueurs endothéliaux étant la tyrosine kinase-1 de type Fms soluble (sFlt-1) ou un ou plusieurs fragments de celle-ci, la proendothéline-1 à l'extrémité C-terminale (CT-proET-1) ou un ou plusieurs fragments de celle-ci et/ou la pro-adrénomédulline (proADM) ou un ou plusieurs fragments de celle-ci, et un niveau inférieur ou égal du ou des biomarqueurs endothéliaux dans le second échantillon par rapport au premier échantillon indiquant que le patient ne risque pas de subir une issue clinique défavorable dans un délai d'au moins 28 jours. L'invention concerne en outre un kit permettant de mettre en œuvre les méthodes de l'invention.
