Technical field
-
The illuminated frame for mosquito net and window blind for recreational vehicles according to the invention is used in the field of recreational vehicles, such as campers, caravans and sleeper trucks, and more particularly relates to the lighting of the interior of such recreational vehicles.
Prior art
-
Lighting in small spaces, such as those found in recreational vehicles, is of paramount importance. In addition to the primary lighting from the main room lamp, there is often secondary lighting that provides uniform illumination of various areas in the recreational vehicle (RV), such as the kitchen area, sleeping area, cabinets or narrow corners that the main lighting does not reach. Secondary lighting can also be used instead of the main lighting, for example at night as discreet night lighting that is not intrusive and provides comfort when moving around during the night or during the day if the windows are darkened in some way, for example by blinds. In the prior art, various night lights are used as secondary lighting, which require a specially allocated space for them, which is a disadvantage for use in recreational vehicles, where space is very limited, and it is possible that they can be knocked over and damaged when moving around.
Summary of the invention
-
The object of the invention is to create a discrete secondary lighting source that is integrated into the already installed equipment of the recreational vehicle (RV).
-
This object is achieved by creating an illuminated frame for mosquito net and window blind for recreational vehicles, which comprises four aluminum profiles arranged in a rectangular shape, connected to each other at their corners by corner connectors with a base and a cover attached to it, the base has rails that are inserted into connecting channels of the aluminum profiles. The aluminum profiles have an inner side with fixing channels, and an outer side. One of the aluminum profiles has a fixing channel for mounting a mosquito net, and the opposite aluminum profile has a fixing channel for mounting a blind, and the remaining two aluminum profiles have fixing channels for mounting bristle brushes, configured to seal and facilitate the movement of the blind and the mosquito net. The frame has a front side and a rear side for mounting to recreational vehicle. On the outer side along the length of each of the aluminum profiles of the frame, an L-shaped edge is integrally formed, having a first arm connected at one end to an outer wall of the respective aluminum profile, and a second arm connected to the first arm, thus forming a U-shaped channel, the free end of the second arm is directed towards the rear side of the frame. A LED strip is glued into the U-shaped channel of at least one, preferably each, of the aluminum profiles, and between the support and the first arm.
-
Preferably, a protruding support is formed in the U-shaped channel integrally to the outer wall along the length of each of the aluminum profiles of the frame, which protruding support is parallel to the first arm, and the protruding support is located at a distance from the first arm equal to or less than the length of the second arm, and wherein the protruding support has a width less than the length of the first arm. The illuminated frame according to the invention is part of a combined mosquito net-blind, which comprises the illuminated frame, and a blind and a mosquito net with the ability to open and close independently of each other are mounted in opposite aluminum profiles of the frame.
-
The resulting frame for mosquito net and window blind for recreational vehicles with integrated LED strip combines functionality, energy efficiency and aesthetic value. LED strips allow creation of different lighting zones around the windows, or near them, which improves the organization and functionality of the interior. LED strips can serve as discreet lighting that is not intrusive and provides comfort when moving around during the night or during the day if the main light is limited. LED lighting is extremely energy saving, which is important for RVs that rely on batteries or solar panels. LED strips use significantly less energy compared to traditional lighting fixtures. LED diodes can operate up to 50,000 hours, which reduces the need for frequent maintenance or replacement. LED strips can be dimmed, which allows customizing the lighting according to the needs and mood. Installed in the U-shaped channels of the frame, LED strips provide a pleasant lighting effect without being visible and remain protected from unintentional damage. LED strips do not heat up significantly, which makes them safe for use in confined spaces. Secondary lighting improves visibility, reducing the risk of accidents, such as tripping or falling in poorly lit areas. Due to their small size and flexibility, LED strips do not take up additional space, which is critically important for the limited space in the RVs. LED lighting is resistant to vibration, which is important for the mobile conditions of the RVs.

Exemplary embodiment of the invention
-
The illuminated frame for mosquito net and window blind for recreational vehicles, according to the invention and as shown in Figures 1-5, comprises four aluminum profiles 5 forming a rectangle, connected to each other at their corners by corner connectors with a base 7 and a cover 8 attached thereto, the base 7 has rails which are inserted into connecting channels 9 of the aluminum profiles 5. The bases 7 and the covers 8 of the corner connectors are preferably made of plastic.
-
The aluminum profiles 5 have an inner side with fixing grooves and an outer side. One of the aluminum profiles 5 has a fixing groove 10 in which a mosquito net is mounted, and the opposite aluminum profile 5 has a fixing groove 10 in which a blind is mounted, and the remaining two aluminum profiles 5 have fixing grooves for mounting bristle brushes 4, adapted to seal and facilitate the movement of the blind 3 and the mosquito net 2.
-
The opening or closing of the mosquito net 2 or the blind 3 is done by pulling, respectively, the blind 3 or the mosquito net 2 by user. Since the mosquito net 2 and the blind 3 are fixed to two opposite aluminum profiles 5, it is possible for half of the opening of the frame 1 to be covered by the blind 3 and the other half to be covered by the mosquito net 2, as shown in Figure 6. The ends of the blind 3 and mosquito net 2, which are not inserted into any of the four aluminum profiles 5 of the frame 1, are connected to an operational profile 11, made for example of aluminum or reinforced PVC, which is gripped by the user, and serves for strengthening the free end of the mosquito net 2 and blind 3. The operational profile 11 has plastic plugs at its two ends, which are inserted into two of the aluminum profiles 5 of the frame 1, in order to facilitate the movement along the length in the corresponding aluminum profiles 5 of the frame 1 when the mosquito net 2 or blind 3 is opened or closed. The operational profile 11 of each of the mosquito net 2 and blind 3 has a magnetic strip along its length, which is used for temporary attachment of the mosquito net 2 to the blind 3.
-
The frame 1 has a front side 12 and a rear side 13 for mounting in front of a window. Various mounting methods are possible, for example by gluing to a wall of the RV around a window, or by means of fasteners that are fixed in holes in the frame 1 and to a wall of the RV around a window.
-
On the outer side, along the length of each of the aluminum profiles 5 of the frame 1, an L-shaped edge 6 is integrally formed as shown in figures 1-5, and it has a first arm 6.1 connected at one end to an outer wall of the aluminum profile 5, and a second arm 6.2, connected to the first arm 6.1, thus forming a U-shaped channel, the free end of the second arm 6.2 is directed towards the rear side 13 of the frame.
-
A LED strip 15 is glued by means of an adhesive or double-sided adhesive tape in the U-shaped channel 6 of at least one, preferably each of the aluminum profiles 5, and between the protruding support 14 and the first arm 6.1, as shown in Figure 5. The LED strip 15 can be glued to each of the walls of the U-shaped channel 6. The LED strip 15 has at its one end power terminals that are connected to a source of electricity, for example a lithium-ion battery, RV's battery, or another source.
-
A protruding support 14 can be formed in the U-shaped channel 6 integrally to the outer wall along the length of each of the aluminum profiles 5 of the frame 1, the support serves to support the LED strip 15 in the embodiment of the invention in which it is glued to the outer wall of the aluminum profiles 5. The support 14 additionally serves to align the LED strip 15, so that a straight line is kept during its mounting avoiding in this way accidental gluing of the LED strip 15 at a greater distance from the first arm 6.1, which can lead to lack of protection by the L-shaped edge 6.
-
The protruding support 14 is parallel to the first arm 6.1, and the support 14 is located at a distance from the first arm 6.1 equal to or less than the length of the second arm 6.2, and wherein the support 14 has a width less than the length of the first arm 6.1.
-
The illuminated frame according to the invention is part of a combined mosquito net-blind, shown in Figure 6, which comprises the illuminated frame 1, and a blind 3 and a mosquito net 2 are mounted therein with the ability of opening and closing independently of each other.
