Abstract

A panel support, comprising:
- a supporting base extending mainly longitudinally defining a seat for housing the edge area of the panel, said seat having a bottom, two opposite sides extending from said bottom and an opening for inserting the panel into the seat, provided at the top ends of said sides and, between said top ends, a longitudinal area for blocking the panel;
- a panel blocking device provided in said longitudinal blocking area, which comprises at least one lateral rest element for the panel provided on a first side of said supporting base and at least one pressure device fixed on the opposite second side and configured to press against said panel to thrust it against said at least one lateral rest element to substantially block the translatory movement of the panel; said blocking area, when blocking is active, acting as pivot area for adjusting the tilt of the panel;
- a cradle for housing the end of the edge of the panel, provided on the bottom of the supporting base, and separate from said supporting base;
- a system for fixing said cradle to said bottom defining a plurality of positions for fixing the cradle to the bottom along a direction transverse to the longitudinal extension of the supporting base, such that once the panel has been blocked by means of said blocking device, it is possible to position said cradle along said transverse direction, causing tilting of the panel around said pivot area, and subsequently fix the cradle in the fixing position identified.

Description

    Technical field
  • The present invention relates to the field of equipment for fixing and supporting structural or complementary panels in the construction field, such as glass panels, parapets, partitions, etc.
  • More in particular, the invention relates to a support for a panel, particularly but not exclusively of the type made of glass, for walls, partitions, parapets, etc.
  • Background art
  • Currently, different types of supports are used to support glass panels.
  • One type of support is provided with a supporting base that defines an open seat for housing the edge area of the panel, and a device for adjusting the tilt, or for blocking the panel relative to the base, interposed between the panel and said base. An example of a panel support is shown, for example, in the patent application WO2019162825 , by the same applicant.
  • This support is particularly innovative and appreciated by the market, but, as for other known supports, it requires adjustments from both sides of the panel.
  • This can be particularly inconvenient in all those cases in which adjustment of the panel takes place on a side that is particularly exposed, as it is necessary to take precautions to reach the side to be adjusted.
  • Another example that attempts to overcome these problems is described in EP3816362 . Also this support is particularly innovative and appreciated by the market but is not without room for improvements, in particular in relation to simplicity of blocking the panel and adjusting its tilt. Another example of panel support is shown in EP2479357 .
  • Summary
  • The main object of the present invention is to solve the problems indicated in panel supports of known type.
  • In particular, an important object of the present invention to produce a panel support, particularly but not exclusively for glass panels, which allows easy installation of the panel acting mainly on a single side of the system.
  • Another important object of the present invention is to produce a panel support, particularly but not exclusively for glass panels, which allows easy blocking of the panel.
  • Yet another important object of the present invention is to produce a panel support, particularly but not exclusively for glass panels, which allows stable and long-lasting blocking of the panel.
  • These and other objects, which will be more apparent below, are achieved with a panel support, comprising:
    • a supporting base extending mainly longitudinally defining a seat for housing the edge area of the panel, said seat having a bottom, two opposite sides extending from said bottom and an opening for inserting the panel into the seat, provided at the top ends of said sides, and between said top ends, a longitudinal area for blocking the panel;
    • a panel blocking device provided in said longitudinal blocking area, comprising at least one lateral rest element for the panel provided on a first side of said supporting base and at least one pressure device fixed to the opposite second side and configured to press against said panel to thrust it against said at least one lateral rest element to substantially block the translatory movement of the panel; said blocking area, when blocking is active, acting as pivot area for adjusting the tilt of the panel;
    • a cradle for housing the end of the edge of the panel, provided on the bottom of the supporting base, and separate from said supporting base;
    • a system for fixing said cradle to said bottom defining a plurality of positions for fixing the cradle to the bottom along a transverse direction to the longitudinal extension of the supporting base, such that once the panel has been blocked by means of said blocking device, it is possible to position said cradle along said transverse direction, determining tilting of the panel around said pivot area, and subsequently fix the cradle in the fixing position identified.
  • In practice, a blocking area that acts as rotational pivot for the panel is produced in the top part of the supporting base, more ore less at the top of the sides of the base. The lower end edge of the panel is housed in a cradle that can be fixed to the bottom of the supporting base. By acting on the upper part of the panel external to the supporting base, i.e., pushing or pulling the panel from one side toward the other, the panel tilts pivoting in the blocking area (the panel can only rotate in this longitudinal blocking area) and consequently any point of the lower edge of said panel tends to move along an arc of circle lying on a plane transverse to the longitudinal extension of the supporting base, and consequently the cradle, thrust by the lower edge of the panel inserted therein, moves parallel to a direction transverse to the longitudinal extension of the base. After identifying the required tilt (for example alignment with an adjacent panel), to which a position of the cradle in the bottom of the supporting base corresponds, the cradle is fixed to the bottom.
  • The term plurality of positions for fixing the cradle to the bottom of the supporting base can mean, preferably, a continuous set of positionings, for example any position along a line, or a discrete set of positioning points, for example also distributed along a line.
  • Preferably, the system for fixing the cradle to the bottom of the supporting base comprises
    • at least one fastening element configured to at least partly pass through said supporting base,
    • at least one track, or trajectory, parallel to said transverse direction in which said at least one fastening element is arranged,
    wherein said at least one fastening element is configured to fix said housing cradle on said supporting base. The at least one track or trajectory allows, for example, an adjustment of the transverse position of the fastening element, in practice to produce different positions for fixing the cradle to the bottom.
  • For example, the fastening element is an element provided with an enlarged head and an engaging body, and the track is a first through hole, in which the engaging body is arranged, said first hole having at least one dimension in width greater, in said transverse direction, than the diameter of said engaging body, so that there is relative movement between the first through hole and the engaging element in said transverse direction, with the enlarged head of the engaging element that presses against the edges of said first through hole to fix it; preferably said fastening element is a threaded element and said engaging body is a threaded body; preferably said first through hole is a slot elongated in said transverse direction.
  • Preferably, the first through hole
    • is provided on said housing cradle, and said engaging body is engaged in said supporting base, with the enlarged head pressing on the cradle so as to thrust it and fix it against the supporting base, or
    • is provided on said supporting base, and said fastening element has its enlarged head pressing on said base and its engaging body fastened on said housing cradle, so as to fix said housing cradle against the supporting base.
  • More preferably, the cradle has a bottom wall and opposite side walls that extend from said bottom defining the space for housing the end edge of the panel, wherein a tongue, in which said at least one first through hole is provided, extends from one said side wall, outside said housing space.
  • For example, at least when the support is installed, at least one second hole, on which said first through hole provided on said cradle is arranged in a corresponding manner, is present on the bottom of said supporting base; the engaging body of said at least one fastening element is arranged engaged in said second hole. For example, this at least one second hole can already be present in the supporting base, or can be produced at the time of installation of the support.
  • According to preferred embodiments, the cradle extends mainly longitudinally; preferably the cradle extends for a length equal to at least one third of the longitudinal length of the panel, and more preferably equal to at least half of the length of the panel and even more preferably equal to at least two thirds of the length of the panel, and even more preferably more or less equal to the length of the panel.
  • A single cradle can be provided for a single panel, or several cradles for a single panel.
  • According to preferred embodiments, the at least one pressure device comprises a surface for pressing against the panel, which has fixed dimensions and is provided at a fixed height of the supporting base. The fact that the dimensions are fixed means that the surface does not vary in size and that, preferably, it does not move from the position on which it is provided.
  • Preferably, the pressure device has a portion for coupling to the side of the supporting base, preferably more or less at the top end of said side.
  • Preferably, the at least one pressure device comprises a wedge system, provided with at least one slider movable in upward/downward direction and adapted to interact along a inclined plane with at least one thrust element associated with said pressure surface, such that the upward/downward movement of said at least one slider generates a transverse movement of said at least one thrust element and hence a movement of said pressure surface against the panel; preferably at least one movement screw of said slider being provided, such that a rotation in one or other direction of the at least one screw causes the upward/downward movement of the slider and the resulting increase or decrease of the thrust of said at least one pressure device toward the panel.
  • Preferably, the at least one pressure device comprises an elastically deformable perimeter ring, comprising a first portion configured to contact the panel and defining said pressure surface, and an opposite second portion configured to contact the side of the supporting base, and in which said at least one movable slider and said at least one thrust element are provided inside the space defined by said ring.
  • Preferably,
    • the thrust element is provided, preferably integrated, at least on the inner face of said ring, at said first portion;
    • the movable slider is adapted to slide on said inclined plane, which is preferably defined on said thrust element;
    • the movable slider has a hole for the free passage of a screw for movement of the slider, and in which the head of said screw is adapted to thrust on said slider;
    • the threaded end of said screw is rotatably coupled with a lead screw body, also adapted to slide on said thrust element without being able to rotate, such that a rotation in one or other direction of the at least one screw causes said slider and said lead screw body to move toward or away from each other, sliding on the inclined plane against the thrust element, thereby causing the elastic ring to widen when screw and lead screw move toward each other and thus produce the blocking thrust on the panel, and to narrow due to the elastic effect when screw and lead screw move away from each other.

  • The invention will be better understood by following the description and the accompanying drawings, which illustrate a non limiting example of embodiment of the invention. More in particular, in the drawing:

    Detailed description of embodiments
  • With reference to the previously cited figures, a panel support according to the invention is indicated as a whole with 10. The panel, for example of glass type, is indicated as a whole with the letter P.
  • This support 10 comprises a supporting base 11, extending mainly longitudinally, for example produced as metal extrusion, for example aluminum, steel or their alloys.
  • The supporting base 11 defines a seat 12, also extending longitudinally, for housing the lower edge P1 of the panel P and has a bottom 13, two opposite sides 14 and 15 extending from the bottom 13, and an opening 16, also extending longitudinally, for inserting the panel into the seat 12, defined at the top ends 14A and 15A of the two sides 14 and 15.
  • A longitudinal area 17 for blocking the panel P is provided between the top ends 14A and 15A of the two sides 14 and 15.
  • Blocking of the panel P in this longitudinal blocking area 17 takes place by means of a device 18 for blocking the panel, arranged in this area 17, i.e., between the top ends 14A and 15A of the two sides 14 and 15.
  • The device 18 comprises, for example, a lateral rest element 19 for the panel P provided on a first side 14 of the supporting base 11, such as a continuous gasket fixed to said first side, and a plurality of pressure devices 20 fixed on the opposite second side 15, spaced apart from one another, as better explained below, and configured to press against the panel to thrust it against the lateral rest element 19.
  • In variants of embodiment, several lateral rest elements 19 can be provided, arranged along the first side, for example spaced apart from one another, or adjacent. In variants of embodiment, instead of a plurality, a single pressure device 20 for the panel can be provided.
  • The pressure devices 20 press the panel toward the lateral rest element 19 to substantially block the translatory movement of the panel.
  • As will be more apparent below, the blocking area 17, when blocking is active (i.e., the pressure devices 20 press the panel toward the lateral rest element 19) act as pivot area for adjusting the tilt of the panel.
  • The support 10 further comprises a cradle 25 for housing the end P1 of the edge of the panel P. This cradle 25 is arranged on the bottom 13 of the supporting base, and is a component separate from the supporting base 11.
  • A system 26 for fixing the cradle 25 to the bottom 13 of the base 11 is associated therewith. This fixing system 26, as better described below, defines a plurality of positions for fixing the cradle 25 to the bottom 13 along a direction Y transverse, preferably orthogonal, to the longitudinal extension X of the supporting base 11, such that, once the panel P has been blocked by means of the blocking device 18, it is possible to move, i.e., position, the cradle along a trajectory parallel to the transverse direction X, causing tilting of the panel P around the pivot area defined in the blocking area 17, and subsequently fix the cradle 25 in the fixing position identified.
  • In this example, the cradle 25 is provided with a bottom wall 28 and opposite side walls 29 extending from the bottom and defining the space for housing the end edge P1 of the panel.
  • The cradle 25 extends longitudinally and in this example preferably has a length more or less equal to the longitudinal length of the panel P. Naturally, other lengths of the cradle are possible.
  • Preferably, a single cradle is provided for a single panel, although in other examples several cradles can be provided to house the edge of a single panel. In less preferable embodiments, one cradle can be provided for several panels.
  • A tongue 30 extends outside to the housing space in the cradle; preferably, it extends for the whole of the longitudinal length of the side walls.
  • The system 26 for fixing the cradle 25 to the bottom 13 of the base 11 comprises, for example, a plurality of first through holes 31, such as slots produced passing through the tongue 30, preferably equidistant from one another, and elongated in the direction orthogonal to the longitudinal extension of the cradle 25.
  • The fixing system 26 further comprises a plurality of fastening elements 33, each of which is formed, for example, by an element formed by an engaging body 34A, for example a pin, and by an enlarged head 34B from which the engaging body 34A extends. By way of example, each fastening element 33 is a screw, and the engaging body 34A is a threaded body, and the enlarged head 34B allows its tightening. Hereinafter, the fastening elements are also generally referred to as threaded elements, and the engaging bodies 34A are referred to as threaded bodies.
  • A plurality of second holes 36 is provided on the bottom 13, at least when the support is installed, for housing in engagement at least part of corresponding threaded bodies 34A of the fastening elements 33. The second holes are equidistant from one another like the first holes.
  • Preferably, the second holes 36 are produced in a recessed longitudinal groove 13A of the bottom 13, with a width (size of the groove measured along X) smaller than the width of the first holes/slots 31 measured along X.
  • The second holes 36 can be provided in the base 11 already before installation of the panel support 10, or can be produced during installation of the support, for example by rupturing the bottom of the groove 13A by means of a tool or by means of the threaded bodies 34A themselves (for example self-tapping screws).
  • Each first hole 31, in this case a slot elongated in orthogonal direction, is in practice a hole that has a greater dimension in width in orthogonal direction Y, so that there is a relative movement between the first hole 31 (the slot) and the fastening element 33 (the threaded element) in said orthogonal direction, before fixing. In practice, the first hole, i.e., in this example the slot, can be seen as a track, or trajectory, parallel to the direction Y orthogonal to the longitudinal extension X of the base 11.
  • When the enlarged head 34B of the threaded element is pressing on the edges of the first through hole 31, with the threaded body 34A engaged in the base 11, inside the second hole 36, the cradle 25 is fixed to the base 11.
  • According to the relative position of the threaded fastening elements 33 in the slots 31, the cradle 25 has different positions for fixing to the bottom 13 along an orthogonal direction Y, i.e., a continuous set of possible positionings along Y.
  • In other embodiments (not shown in the figures), the first holes (slots, tracks or trajectories) could be provided on the supporting base and the threaded elements could have their enlarged head pressing on the base 11 and their threaded body engaged on the housing cradle, so as to fix the housing cradle against the supporting base. In further examples (not shown in the figures), the fastening elements may be non-threaded and may comprise, for example, engaging bodies of the snap-fit type, press-fit type, or of a generic retaining type, which engage with the base 11 (for example in the second hole 36) or with the housing cradle, depending on the two examples described above.
  • Preferably, a gasket, not represented in the figures, is provided between the cradle 25 and the lower portion P1 of the panel P inserted therein.
  • As can be seen in Figs. 5 to 8, each pressure device 20 comprises, in this example, an elastically deformable perimeter ring 40. This ring 40 comprises a first portion 41 configured to contact the panel P, which defines a surface SP for pressing the device against the panel, and an opposite second portion 42 configured to contact the second side 15 of the supporting base 11.
  • A movable slider 45 and a thrust element 46 are provided inside the space defined by the ring 40. As explained below, interaction between movable slider and thrust element causes a variation of the dimension of the ring in the direction toward the panel, blocking the panel.
  • In this example, the thrust element 46 is integrated on the inner face of the ring 40, both at the first portion 41 and at the second portion 42, and has a triangular shaped cross section, with a face of the triangle corresponding to the pressing surface SP and to the surface of the part 42 that contacts the second side 15 of the base 11, respectively. The other two inclined faces, upper and lower, converge toward the center of the ring 40.
  • The upper inclined faces of the triangular shaped section of the thrust element 46 form an inclined plane W for interaction with the faces of a downward facing wedge portion defined on the movable slider 45. The movable slider 45 and the thrust element in practice form a wedge system, such that the upward/downward movement of the slider generates a transverse movement according to Y of the thrust element 46, and hence a movement of the pressing surface SP against the panel P, or away from it, with consequent increase or decrease of the thrust of the pressure device 20 toward the panel.
  • The movable slider 45 is adapted to slide on the inclined plane W. Moreover, the slider 45 has at least one hole 50 for the free passage of a corresponding screw 51 for movement of the slider, and in which the head 52 of the screw 50 is adapted to push on the slider. The threaded end of the screw 51 is rotationally coupled with a lead screw body 53, which is also arranged so as to slide on the thrust element, at the lower inclined faces W1 of the triangular shaped section of the thrust element 46.
  • For example, the lead screw body 53 has a main body 53A with a through hole for passage of the body of the screw, and a nut 53B inserted into a pocket defined in the body 53A, engaged on the screw. The lead screw body 53 does not rotate with the screw, but is obliged to translate upward and downward.
  • In this example, two screws 51 for each pressure device are represented. It is understood that a solution with a single screw is naturally a possible alternative, as are versions with more than two screws.
  • A rotation in one or other direction of the screw causes a movement of the slider 45 and the lead screw body 53 toward or away from each other, sliding on the inclined plane W (and W1) against the thrust element 42, causing the elastic ring 40 to widen when screw and lead screw move toward each other, thereby producing the blocking thrust on the panel, and to narrow due to the elastic effect when screw and lead screw move away from each other.
  • Movable slider 45 and lead screw body 53 are constrained so as to be able to mutually translate in upward/downward direction. To prevent the lead screw body 53 from dropping downward, it is arranged between retaining protrusions 55 projecting downward from the movable slider, which define a lower retaining stop 55A for the lead screw body. The same stop 55A also prevents the ring 40 from dropping downward.
  • The pressure device 20 comprises a portion 47 for coupling to the side 15 of the supporting base 11, for example an appendage in the form of downward facing hook that projects from the second portion 42 of the ring 40. This coupling portion 47 is, for example, configured to couple with a raised part 48, for example provided more or less at the top of the top end of the side 15.
  • To guide the relative movement of the slider 45 and of the lead screw body correctly, the latter is formed by a series of thin triangular shaped appendages 56 whose lateral walls 56A slide on the planes W1 of the thrust element 42, and whose front faces 56B are guided inside a complementary series of slits 58 produced on the movable slider 45. The upper end of the appendages 56 can exit from the slits 58, and are visible from above to a user, when the support is installed. The degree to which the appendages project from the slits is also an indicator of the relative positioning of the slider 45 and of the lead screw body 53, and therefore is an indicator of the level of thrust of the device 20 on the panel P and hence an indicator of its blocking.
  • The blocking devices 20 are arranged along the blocking area spaced apart from one another, to leave a space for access to the bottom of the base 11, to be able to act on the screws for blocking the cradle on the bottom 13.
  • A longitudinal cover 60 can be provided, removably coupled to the top end 15A of the second side 15 of the base 11, optionally provided with a gasket 61.
  • Installation of the device is as follows.
  • The supporting base 11 is fixed to a load bearing structure. The lateral rest element, i.e., the gasket 19, is applied to the first side 14 (or optionally it may have already been applied).
  • The cradle 25 is arranged on the bottom 13 of the base 11. If the second holes 36 are already present in the groove 13A, the cradle 25 is arranged on the bottom 13 so that the slots 31 are aligned with the second holes 36. The fastening elements 33 are then inserted into the slots 31 and into the second holes 36, without blocking.
  • The lower edge P1 of the panel is then inserted into the cradle 25. The panel is made to abut against the lateral rest element 19.
  • The pressure devices 20 are inserted, spaced apart from one another, at the top end 15A of the second side 15.
  • This produces a longitudinal blocking area 17. Acting on the screws 51 it is possible to block the panel in this area. The panel can now no longer translate but can be tilted acting above the pivot area produced by blocking in the area 17.
  • Acting on the top part of the panel (the part outside the base 11), it is possible to tilt the panel as required. Tilting of the panel causes movement of the cradle 25 in the transverse direction Y. The cradle translates with the slots 31 that move between a maximum and minimum position determined by the ends of the slots that abut against the bodies of the fastening elements 33.
  • Once the tilt of the panel has been decided, i.e., the position of the cradle along the direction Y, the fastening elements 33 are tightened, blocking the cradle 25 on the bottom 13.
  • It is understood that the description above represents only possible nonlimiting embodiments of the invention, which may vary in forms and arrangements without however departing from the scope of the concept on which the invention is based. Any reference numbers in the appended claims are provided purely to facilitate the reading thereof, in the light of the foregoing description and accompanying drawings, and do not in any way limit the scope of protection.

Claims (13)

  1. A panel support, comprising:
    - a supporting base (11) extending mainly longitudinally defining a seat (12) for housing the edge area of the panel (P), said seat having a bottom (13), two opposite sides (14, 15) extending from said bottom and an opening for inserting the panel (16) into the seat, provided at the top ends (14A, 15A) of said sides and, between said top ends, a longitudinal area for blocking the panel (17);
    - a panel blocking device (18) provided in said longitudinal blocking area (17), which comprises at least one lateral rest element (19) for the panel (P) provided on a first side (14) of said supporting base (11) and at least one pressure device (20) fixed on the opposite second side (15) and configured to press against said panel (P) to thrust it against said at least one lateral rest element (19) to substantially block the translatory movement of the panel (P); said blocking area (17), when blocking is active, acting as pivot area for adjusting the tilt of the panel (P);
    - a cradle (25) for housing the end of the edge (P1) of the panel (P), provided on the bottom (13) of the supporting base (11), and separate from said supporting base (11);
    - a system (26) for fixing said cradle (25) to said bottom (13) defining a plurality of positions for fixing the cradle (25) to the bottom (13) along a direction (Y) transverse to the longitudinal extension (X) of the supporting base (11), such that once the panel (P) has been blocked by means of said blocking device (18), it is possible to position said cradle (25) along said transverse direction (Y), causing tilting of the panel (P) around said pivot area (17), and subsequently fix the cradle (25) in the fixing position identified.
  2. The panel support (10) according to claim 1, wherein said system (26) for fixing the cradle (25) to said bottom (13) comprises
    - at least one fastening element (33) configured to at least partly pass through said supporting base (11),
    - at least one track parallel to said transverse direction (Y) in which said at least one fastening element (33) is arranged,
    wherein said at least one fastening element (33) fixes said housing cradle (25) on said supporting base (11).
  3. The panel support (10) according to claim 2, wherein said fastening element (33) is a element provided with an enlarged head (34B) and an engaging body (34A), and said at least one track is at least one first through hole (31), in which said engaging body (34A) is arranged, said first hole (31) having at least one dimension in width greater, in said transverse direction (Y), than the diameter of said engaging body (34A), so that there is relative movement between the first through hole (31) and the fastening element (33) in said transverse direction (Y), with the enlarged head (34B) of the fastening element (33) pressing on the edges of said first through hole (31) to fix it; preferably said fastening element (33) is a threaded element and said engaging body (34A) is a threaded body; preferably said first through hole (31) is a slot elongated in said transverse direction (Y).
  4. The panel support (10) according to claim 3, wherein said first through hole (31):
    - is provided on said housing cradle (25), and said engaging body (34A) is engaged in said supporting base (11), with the enlarged head (34B) pressing on the cradle (25) so as to thrust it, fixing it against said supporting base (11), or
    - is provided on said supporting base (11) and said fastening element (33) has its enlarged head (34B) pressing on said base (11) and its engaging body (34A) engaged on said housing cradle (25), so as to fix said housing cradle (25) against said supporting base (11).
  5. The panel support (10) according to claim 4, wherein said cradle (25) has a bottom wall (28) and opposite side walls (29) extending from said bottom wall (28) defining the space for housing the end edge (P1) of the panel (P), wherein a tongue (30), in which said at least one first through hole (31) is provided, extends from one said side wall (29), outside said housing space.
  6. The panel support (10) according to claim 4 or 5, wherein at least one second hole (36), on which said first through hole (31) provided on said cradle (25) is arranged in an aligned manner, is present on the bottom (13) of said supporting base (11); the engaging body (34A) of said at least one fastening element (33) is arranged engaged in said second hole (36).
  7. The panel support (10) according to one or more of the preceding claims, wherein said cradle (25) extends mainly longitudinally (X); preferably, said cradle (25) extends for a length equal to at least one third of the longitudinal length of the panel (P), and more preferably equal to at least half of the length of the panel (P) and even more preferably equal to at least two thirds of the length of the panel (P), and even more preferably more or less equal to the length of the panel (P); preferably, a single said cradle (25) is present for a single panel (P), or several cradles (25) for a single panel (P).
  8. The panel support (10) according to one or more of the preceding claims, wherein said at least one pressure device (20) comprises a surface (SP) for pressing against the panel (P), which has fixed dimensions and is provided at a fixed height of the supporting base (11).
  9. The panel support (10) according to claim 8, wherein said pressure device (20) has a portion (47) for coupling to the side (15) of the supporting base (11); preferably more or less at the top end (15A) of said side (15).
  10. The panel support (10) according to claim 8 or 9, wherein said at least one pressure device (20) comprises a wedge system, provided with at least one slider (45) movable in upward/downward direction and adapted to interact along an inclined plane (W, W1) with at least one thrust element (46) associated with said pressing surface (SP), such that the upward/downward movement of said at least one slider (45) generates a transverse movement of said at least one thrust element (46) and hence a movement of said pressing surface (SP) against the panel (P).
  11. The panel support (10) according to claim 10, comprising at least one screw (51) for movement of said slider (45), such that a rotation in one or other direction of the at least one screw (51) causes the upward/downward movement of the slider (45) and the consequent increase or decrease of the thrust of said at least one pressure device (20) toward the panel (P).
  12. The panel support (10) according to claim 11, wherein said at least one pressure device (20) comprises an elastically deformable perimeter ring (40), comprising a first portion (41) configured to contact the panel (P) and defining said pressing surface (SP), and an opposite second portion (42) configured to contact the side (15) of the supporting base (11), and wherein said at least one movable slider (45) and said at least one thrust element (46) are provided inside the space defined by said ring (40).
  13. The panel support (10) according to claim 12, wherein
    said thrust element (46) is provided, preferably integrated, at least on the inner face of said ring (40), at said first portion (41);
    said movable slider (45) is adapted to slide on said inclined plane (W, W1) preferably defined on said thrust element (46);
    said movable slider (45) has a hole (50) for the free passage of a screw (51) for movement of the slider (45), and in which the head (52) of said screw (51) is adapted to push on said slider (45);
    the threaded end of said screw (51) is rotationally coupled with a lead screw body (53) also adapted to slide on said thrust element (46) without being able to rotate, such that a rotation in one or other direction of the at least one screw (51) causes a movement of said slider (45) and said lead screw body (53) toward or away from each other, sliding on the inclined plane (W, W1) against the thrust element (46), causing the elastic ring (40) to widen when screw (51) and lead screw (53) move toward each other and hence produce the blocking thrust on the panel (P), and to narrow due to the elastic effect when screw (51) and lead screw (53) move away from each other.
