Abstract

Procédé et machine d'emballage pour la fermeture par une coiffe d'une caisse de forme parallélépipédique rectangle ouverte sur le dessus L'invention concerne un procédé de fermeture d'une caisse par une coiffe (30) comprenant un panneau central rectangulaire (31) et quatre volets latéraux (33), ledit procédé comportant les étapes de : - transfert de ladite caisse et de ladite coiffe (30) vers un poste de fermeture où ladite coiffe vient se superposer horizontalement à l'aplomb de ladite caisse, les deux volets latéraux transversaux (33) de ladite coiffe étant retenus, durant le transfert de cette dernière, dans une position partiellement rabattue vers le bas; - rapprochement à coulissement vertical de ladite caisse et de ladite coiffe de sorte que le bord sommital de cette caisse vienne au contact dudit panneau central; - rabattage et pressage pendant une durée prédéterminée des quatre dits volets latéraux contre les portions supérieures des parois latérales de la caisse de sorte à assurer la fixation par collage de ladite coiffe sur ladite caisse.
