FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention concerns a surface cleaning kit which is usable, for example, for cleaning floors of civil or industrial buildings. In particular, the cleaning kit can be used both professionally and privately, or domestically.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
In the field of cleaning surfaces, such as floors of civil or industrial buildings, various cleaning equipment, devices, or instruments are known.
In particular in the professional field, such surfaces are cleaned by means of the use of a suction device, or liquid aspirators, and a cleaning tool, in particular a washing tool, which can be used with a corresponding single-tank washing bucket, or double-tank washing bucket in which the washing and disinfection liquid is present.
Said suction device is used to aspirate the solid and liquid substances present on such surfaces. For example, the suction device can be used in the event that there is some stagnation of dirty water, or other liquids.
In particular, the suction device comprises an upper aspirator and a lower container of the aspirated substances, which are coupled to each other in a removable manner by means of a suitable coupling mechanism.
Once the suction device is used, the cleaning tool with the respective washing bucket is used.
The cleaning tool comprises a handle and a washing head, which can be made of microfibre or cotton strips, or straps. For example, the cleaning tool is known by the term "mop." Usually, the washing bucket is provided with a wringing member for wringing the soaked washing head of the cleaning tool.
A drawback of the use of the suction device and the cleaning tool with the respective bucket, is that an operator responsible for cleaning must always transport everything to the place to be cleaned and this can lead to transport difficulties and/or operating slowdowns, especially in places with small spaces where the transport or use can be very difficult if not impossible.
There is therefore the need to perfect a cleaning kit that can overcome at least one of the disadvantages of the state of the art. In particular, a purpose of the present invention is to realize a surface cleaning kit that is easy to make and to use.
Another purpose of the present invention is to realize a surface cleaning kit that allows a significant saving in the use of plastic for its production.
A further purpose of the present invention is to realize a surface cleaning kit which is low cost.
The Applicant has devised, tested and embodied the present invention to overcome the shortcomings of the state of the art and to obtain these and other purposes and advantages.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
The present invention is set forth and characterized in the independent claims. The dependent claims describe other characteristics of the present invention or variants to the main inventive idea.
In accordance with the above purposes, and to resolve the technical problem disclosed above in a new and original way, also achieving considerable advantages compared to the state of the prior art, a cleaning kit according to the present invention can be used to clean surfaces of civil or industrial buildings, for example floors provided with or without tiles.
In accordance with one aspect of the present invention, the cleaning kit comprises both a suction device having an upper aspirator and a lower container which are coupled to each other in a removable manner by means of releasable coupling means, and also a wringer member configured to allow the wringing of a cleaning tool, and to be coupled to said lower container, so that the latter, when it is uncoupled from said upper aspirator, has a function of a washing bucket for said cleaning tool.
In accordance with one aspect of the present invention, said wringer member is provided with coupling means configured to couple with a corresponding portion of an upper edge of said lower container, in order to keep said wringer member in a stable position.
By exploiting said lower container as a washing bucket for the cleaning tool, there is the advantage of having smaller dimensions, less weight and greater ease of transport.
In accordance with another aspect of the present invention, said wringing member comprises both a wringing part able to be inserted inside said lower container and to cooperate with a washing head of said cleaning tool, and at least one support part having a coupling edge mating in shape with a corresponding portion of said upper edge. In particular, said at least one support part and said coupling edge define said coupling means.
In accordance with embodiments of the present invention, said wringer member comprises a wringing seating able to cooperate with a head of said cleaning tool, a press wringing mechanism able to be driven with a knob, and two or more clamping pins configured to cooperate with corresponding portions of said upper edge, coupling to them by interlocking and clamping said wringer member in a stable position. In particular, said clamping pins define said coupling means.
In accordance with another aspect of the present invention, said upper aspirator comprises a coupling part provided with a lower edge able to contact said upper edge and mating in shape therewith. In accordance with another aspect of the present invention, said coupling means comprise two or more clamping hooks which are associated with said lower container and cooperate with said lower edge in order to clamp said upper aspirator to said lower container.
In accordance with embodiments of the present invention, said lower container comprises, on a lateral wall thereof, a suction hole to which a suction pipe, or a first hermetic closure cap, can alternatively be connected.
The use of said suction pipe occurs when said upper aspirator and said lower container are coupled to each other, while the use of said first hermetic closure cap occurs when said wringing member is coupled to said lower container. In accordance with embodiments of the present invention, said lower container comprises a draining hole to which a draining pipe is connected, which is able to be oriented in relation to the point, or the zone, where the suctioned substances are to be drained.
In accordance with embodiments of the present invention, said lower container internally comprises a bottom wall having a bottom surface inclined toward said draining hole to make the suctioned substances converge toward the latter.
In accordance with other embodiments of the present invention, said coupling means comprise two or more clamping hooks associated with said upper aspirator and cooperating with said upper edge in order to clamp said lower container to said upper aspirator.
In accordance with other embodiments of the present invention, said coupling part of said upper aspirator comprises a suction hole to which a suction pipe can be connected.
DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
These and other aspects, characteristics and advantages of the present invention will become apparent from the following description of some embodiments, given as a non-restrictive example with reference to the attached drawings wherein: - fig. 1 is a schematic axonometric view of a suction device of the surface cleaning kit according to a first embodiment of the present invention;

We must clarify that in the present description the phraseology and terminology used, as well as the figures in the attached drawings also as described, have the sole function of better illustrating and explaining the present invention, their function being to provide a non-limiting example of the invention itself, since the scope of protection is defined by the claims.
To facilitate comprehension, the same reference numbers have been used, where possible, to identify identical common elements in the drawings. It is understood that elements and characteristics of one embodiment can be conveniently combined or incorporated into other embodiments without further clarifications. DESCRIPTION OF SOME EMBODIMENTS OF THE PRESENT INVENTION
With reference to figures 1 to 11, a cleaning kit 10 according to the present invention is arranged and can be used to clean surfaces, such as floors of civil or industrial buildings, which may or may not be provided with tiles.
The cleaning kit 10 comprises at least one suction device 11, 111, 211 (figures 1 , 6 and 9) of liquid substances, for example dirty water or other types of liquids, and/or of solid substances, for example dust or other material. In accordance with the possible preferred embodiments, the suction device 11 , 111, 211 comprises an upper aspirator 12, 112, 212 and a lower container 13, 113, 213 of the suctioned substances, which is internally hollow.
The upper aspirator 12, 112, 212 and the lower container 13, 113, 213 are coupled to each other in a removable manner by means of releasable coupling means 15, 115, 215.
The cleaning kit 10 comprises a wringing member 16, 116, 216 which is configured to allow the wringing of the liquids of a washing head of a cleaning tool of such surfaces, usable in combination with the suction device 11, 111, 211.
The wringer member 16, 116, 216 is shaped so as to be coupled to the lower container 13, 113, 213 so that the latter, when it is uncoupled from the upper aspirator 12, 112, 212, has the function of a washing bucket for the cleaning tool. It should be is noted that the cleaning tool is of known type and is not depicted in the drawings.
Therefore, the lower container 13, 113, 213 can selectively assume a first operating condition, in the event in which it is coupled to the upper aspirator 12, 112, 212 for the correct operation of the suction device 11, 111, 211, or a second operating condition, in the event in which the wringer member 16, 116, 216 is coupled thereto and used as a washing bucket for the cleaning tool. According to embodiments, the wringer member 16, 116, 216 is provided with coupling means 17, 117, 217 configured to couple with a corresponding portion of an upper edge 19, 119, 219 of the lower container 13, 113, 213. Preferably, the upper edge 19, 119, 219 is protruding with respect to the outer lateral surface of the lower container 13, 113, 213.
The upper aspirator 12, 112, 212 comprises a suction unit 20, 120, configured to generate a suction flow in the lower container 13, 113, 213.
It should be noted that in figures 9 to 11 the suction unit is not visible, even if it is present in the upper aspirator 212.
The suction unit 20, 120 is provided with at least one pumping member, not visible in the drawings, capable of generating such a suction flow, which is connected to, and can be driven by, a drive member, also not visible in the drawings, for example an electric motor.
According to preferred embodiments, the upper aspirator 12, 112, 212 is provided with a coupling portion 21, 121, 221 which, in use, is adapted to cooperate with the lower container 13, 113, 213, in particular with the upper edge 19, 119, 219. In this case, the expression "in use" means the condition in which the upper aspirator 12, 112, 212 and the lower container 13, 113, 213 are joined together, i.e., when the latter is in the first operating condition.
The coupling portion 21, 121, 221 is provided with a protruding lower edge 22, 122, 222 (figures 2, 7 and 10), able to contact the upper edge 19, 119, 219 and having a shape conjugated therewith to ensure a shape coupling.
According to possible embodiments, at the upper edge 19, 119, 219 and the lower edge 22, 122, 222 a first and a second sealing element can be arranged respectively, not visible in the drawings, able to cooperate with each other in use to ensure a hermetic seal between the upper aspirator 12, 112, 212 and the lower container 13, 113, 213.
In accordance with preferred embodiments, the lower container 13, 113, 213 is provided, on the bottom, with movement means 27, 127, 227 for moving the suction device 11, 111, 211. By way of example, the movement means 27, 127, 227 can be small swivelling wheels.
With reference to figures 1 to 5, the distinctive characteristics of a first preferred embodiment, ideally designed for use in the professional field, are now disclosed. The upper aspirator 12 comprises a coupling portion 21 which is shaped so as to ensure a correct shape coupling between the upper aspirator 12 and the lower container 13.
According to possible embodiments, the coupling portion 21 can be shaped so as to also allow the positioning of the wringer member 16 inside the suction device 11.
The lower container 13 comprises a suction hole 29 made on a lateral wall 30, substantially near the upper edge 19.
A suction pipe 31 of the solid and liquid substances can be connected to the suction hole 29 in a removable manner. Specifically, the suction pipe 31 is connected to the lower container 13 when it is in the first operating condition, i.e., when it is coupled to the upper aspirator 12. As can be seen in fig. 1, the suction pipe 31 is only partially shown.
Alternatively, a first hermetic closure cap plug 32 can be connected in a removable manner to the suction hole 29. The first closure cap 32 has the function of hermetically closing the suction hole 29 and is essential in the event that the lower container 13 is in the second operating condition, i.e., when it has the function of a washing bucket.
Even when it is not associated with the suction hole 29, the first closure cap 32 can be kept connected to the lower container 13 by means of a connection cable, not shown in the drawings.
Furthermore, the lower container 13 is also provided with a draining hole 33 of the suctioned substances.
As shown in fig. 1, the draining hole 33 can be realized on a lower portion of the lateral wall 31. A draining pipe 36 which is able to be oriented in relation to the point, or the zone, where the suctioned substances are to be drained, can be externally connected to the draining hole 33.
A hermetic closure element, not shown in the drawings, can be associated with the draining hole 33, or with the draining pipe 36. According to a possible variant, the draining hole 33 can be realized on a bottom wall 35 of the lower container 13.
Advantageously, the bottom wall 35 is realized so as to have a bottom surface 37, inside the lower container 13, which is inclined toward the draining hole 33 to converge the suctioned substances towards the latter.
The coupling means 15 (figures 1 and 2) can comprise two or more clamping hooks 39 able to clamp and stably hold the upper aspirator 12 and the lower container 13 together. The clamping hooks 39 are associated with the lower container 13 and cooperate with the lower edge 22 of the coupling portion 21, to clamp it to the lower container 13.
In this first embodiment, according to a first variant, the wringer member 16 (fig. 2) comprises both a wringing part 40 able to be inserted inside the lower container 13 and to cooperate with a washing head of the cleaning tool, and a support part 41a having a respective coupling edge 42a of conjugate shape to a corresponding portion of the upper edge 19, so as to shape couple therewith, keeping the wringer member 16 in a stable position. The support part 41a and the coupling edge 42a define the coupling means 17. The wringing part 40 preferably has a frusto-conical, funnel or concave shape, and is provided with a plurality of holes, arranged on several levels and possibly of different sizes to facilitate the wringing of the washing head of the cleaning tool.
According to a second variant (fig. 3), the wringer member 16 comprises two support parts 41a’, opposite each other with respect to the wringer part 40, having respective coupling edges 42a’ of conjugate shape to corresponding portions of the upper edge 19, so as to shape couple therewith, keeping the wringer member 16 in a stable position. The two support parts 41a’ and the respective coupling edges 42a’ define the coupling means 17.
According to a third variant, the wringer member 16 (fig. 4) is of the traditional press type and essentially comprises a wringing seating 43 in which to arrange the washing head of the cleaning tool and a press wringing mechanism 44, able to be driven with a knob 45. The wringer member 16 comprises two or more clamping pins 46 configured to cooperate with corresponding portions of the upper edge 19, coupling to them by interlocking, clamping the wringer member 16 in a stable position.
In accordance with the first embodiment, the cleaning kit 10 may also comprise a support element 47 (fig. 5) for stably supporting at least the upper aspirator 12 when it is uncoupled from the lower container 13. With reference to figures 6 to 8, the distinctive characteristics of a second preferred embodiment, ideally designed for use in the domestic field, are now disclosed.
The suction device 111 of the second embodiment has smaller dimensions with respect to the suction device 11 of the first embodiment.
The upper aspirator 112 comprises a coupling portion 121 which is shaped so as to ensure a correct shape coupling between the upper aspirator 112 and the lower container 113.
The lower container 113 comprises a suction hole 129 made on a lateral wall 130, substantially near the upper edge 119.
A suction pipe 131 (fig. 6 and 7) of the solid and liquid substances can be connected to the suction hole 129 in a removable manner.
The suction pipe 131 is connected to the lower container 113 when it is in the first operating condition, i.e., when it is coupled to the upper aspirator 112. In fig. 6, the suction pipe 131 is only partially shown.
Alternatively, a first hermetic closure cap plug 132 can be connected in a removable manner to the suction hole 129. The first closure cap 132 has the function of hermetically closing the suction hole 129 and is essential in the event that the lower container 113 is in the second operating condition, i.e., when it has the function of a washing bucket.
Even when it is not associated with the suction hole 129, the first closure cap 132 can be kept connected to the lower container 113 by means of a connection cable, not shown in the drawings.
Furthermore, the lower container 113 is also provided with a draining hole 133 of the suctioned substances.
As shown in fig. 8, the draining hole 133 can be realized on a lower portion of the lateral wall 131. A draining pipe 136 which is able to be oriented in relation to the point, or the zone, where the suctioned substances are to be drained, can be externally connected to the draining hole 133. A hermetic closure element, not shown in the drawings, can be associated with the draining hole 133, or with the draining pipe 136.
According to a variant, the draining hole 133 can be realized on a bottom wall 135 of the lower container 113. Advantageously, the bottom wall 135 can be realized so as to have a bottom surface, inside the lower container 1 13, which is inclined toward the draining hole 133 to converge the suctioned substances towards the latter.
The hooking means 115 can comprise two or more clamping hooks 139 (figures 6 and 7) able to clamp and stably hold the upper aspirator 112 and the lower container 113 together.
The clamping hooks 139 are associated with the lower container 113 and cooperate with the lower edge 122 of the coupling portion 121, to clamp it to the lower container 113. In this second embodiment, the wringer member 16 (fig. 7) comprises a wringing part 140 preferably having a frusto-conical, funnel or concave shape, and protruding inside the lower container 113 when the wringer member 116 is associated with the latter.
The wringing part 140 is provided with a plurality of holes, arranged on several levels and possibly of different sizes to facilitate the wringing of the washing head of the cleaning tool.
The wringer member 1 16 comprises a support part 141a having a coupling edge 142a of conjugate shape to a portion of the upper edge 119, so as to shape couple therewith, keeping the wringer member 116 in a stable position. The support part 141a and the coupling edge 142a define the coupling means 117.
With reference to figures 9 to 11, the distinctive characteristics of a third preferred embodiment, ideally designed for use in the professional field, are now disclosed.
It should be noted that in this third embodiment, the lower container 212 (fig. 11) can be a washing bucket for the cleaning tool and that the upper aspirator 213 can be suitably realized constructed to be associated with the lower container 212.
In particular, the upper aspirator 212 (figures 9 and 10) comprises a coupling portion 221 which is shaped so as to ensure a correct shape coupling between the upper aspirator 112 and the lower container 213. Specifically, the coupling portion 221 is widened at the lower zone to ensure a shape coupling between the lower edge 222 and the upper edge 219.
The upper aspirator 213 comprises a suction hole 229 realized on a lateral wall 230 of the coupling portion 221. A suction pipe 231 of the solid and liquid substances can be connected to the suction hole 229 in a removable manner. Specifically, the suction pipe 231 is connected to the upper aspirator 213 when it is coupled to the lower container 212. In fig. 9, the suction pipe 231 is only partially shown. The hooking means 215 can comprise two or more clamping hooks 239 (figures 9 and 10) able to clamp and stably hold the upper aspirator 212 and the lower container 213 together.
The clamping hooks 239 are associated with the upper aspirator 212 and cooperate with the upper edge 219 of the lower container 213, to clamp it to the upper aspirator 212.
In this third embodiment, the wringer member 216 (fig. 11) can be of the known press type and essentially comprises a wringing seating 243 in which to arrange the washing head of the cleaning tool and a press wringing mechanism 244, of the known type and able to be driven with a knob 245. The wringer member 216 comprises two or more clamping pins 246 configured to cooperate with corresponding portions of the upper edge 219, coupling to them by interlocking, clamping the wringer member 216 in a stable position. The two clamping pins 246 define the coupling means 217 of the wringer member.
The operation of the cleaning kit 10 described so far, which corresponds to the method according to the present invention comprises the following steps.
A preparation step wherein the suction device 11, 111, 211 is correctly arranged for cleaning dirty surfaces.
In such a preparation step, the suction pipe 31, 131 , 231 is connected to the suction hole 29, 129, 229. A cleaning step wherein the suction device 11, 111, 211 is used to suck the liquid and/or solid substances from the surfaces.
An uncoupling step wherein the upper aspirator 12, 112, 212 is uncoupled from the lower container 13, 113, 213.
In accordance with the first and second embodiments, the suction pipe 31, 131 is disconnected from the suction hole 29, 129 and the first hermetic closure cap 32, 132 is inserted.
Subsequently, the lower container 13, 113, 213 is emptied of the suctioned substances. The emptying can be performed by exploiting the draining hole 33, 133 and the draining pipe 36, 136.
Then in a coupling step, the wringer member 16, 116, 216 is positioned on the lower container 13, 113, 213, so that the coupling means 17, 117, 217 couple to the upper edge 19, 119, 219.
Thereby, the lower container 13, 113, 213 has the function of a washing bucket for a cleaning tool, which is used in combination with the suction device 11, 111, 211 to obtain optimal cleaning.
In accordance with the third embodiment, in the preparation step the upper aspirator 212 is coupled to the lower container 213, as they can also be separated from each other, i.e., they can be in two different places.
It is clear that modifications and/or additions of parts may be made to the cleaning kit 10 described heretofore, without departing from the field and scope of the present invention, as defined by the claims. It is also clear that, although the present invention has been described with reference to some specific examples, a person of skill in the art shall certainly be able to achieve other equivalent forms of a cleaning kit, having the characteristics set forth in the claims and hence all coming within the field of protection defined thereby. In the following claims, the sole purpose of the references in brackets is to facilitate their reading and they must not be considered as restrictive factors with regard to the field of protection defined by the claims.

Claims

1. Kit (10) for cleaning surfaces of civil or industrial buildings, characterized in that it comprises both a suction device (11, 111, 211) having an upper aspirator (12, 112, 212) and a lower container (13, 113, 213) which are coupled to each other in a removable manner by means of releasable coupling means (15, 115, 215), and also a wringer member (16, 116, 216) configured to allow the wringing of a cleaning tool, and to be coupled to said lower container (13, 113, 213) so that the latter, when it is uncoupled from said upper aspirator (12, 112, 212), has the function of a washing bucket for said cleaning tool.
2. Cleaning kit ( 10) as in claim 1 , characterized in that said wringer member ( 16,
116, 216) is provided with coupling means (17, 117, 217) configured to couple to a corresponding portion of an upper edge (19, 119, 219) of said lower container (13, 113, 213) in order to keep said wringer member (16, 116, 216) in a stable position.
3. Cleaning kit ( 10) as in claim 2, characterized in that said wringer member (16,
116) comprises both a wringing part (40, 140) able to be inserted inside said lower container (13, 113) and to cooperate with a head of said cleaning tool, and also at least one support part (41a, 41a’, 141a) having a coupling edge (42a, 42a’, 142a) mating in shape with a corresponding portion of said upper edge (19, 119), wherein said at least one support part (41a, 41a’, 141a) and said coupling edge (42a, 42a’, 142a) define said coupling means (17, 117).
4. Cleaning kit (10) as in claim 2, characterized in that said wringer member (16, 216) comprises a wringing seating (43, 243) able to cooperate with a head of said cleaning tool, a press wringing mechanism (44, 244) able to be driven with a knob (45), and two or more clamping pins (46, 246) configured to cooperate with corresponding portions of said upper edge (19, 219), coupling to them by interlocking and clamping said wringer member (16, 216) in a stable position, in which said clamping pins (46, 246) define said coupling means (17, 217).
5. Cleaning kit (10) as in claim 1 or 2, characterized in that said upper aspirator (12, 112, 212) comprises a coupling part (21, 121, 221) provided with a lower edge
(22, 122, 222) able to contact said upper edge (19, 119, 219) and mating in shape therewith.
6. Cleaning kit (10) as in claim 5, characterized in that said coupling means (15, 115) comprise two or more clamping hooks (39, 139) which are associated with said lower container (13, 113) and cooperate with said lower edge (22, 122) in order to clamp said upper aspirator (12, 112) to said lower container (13, 113).
7. Cleaning kit (10) as in any claim hereinbefore, characterized in that said lower container (13, 113) comprises, on a lateral wall (30, 130) thereof, a suction hole (29, 129) to which a suction pipe (31, 131) can be connected, when said upper aspirator (12, 112) and said lower container (13, 113) are coupled to each other, or a first hermetic closure cap (32, 132), in the event that said lower container (13, 113) is coupled to said wringer member (16, 116).
8. Cleaning kit (10) as in any claim hereinbefore, characterized in that said lower container (13, 113) comprises a draining hole (33, 133) to which a draining pipe (36) is connected, which is able to be oriented in relation to the point, or the zone, where the suctioned substances are to be drained.
9. Cleaning kit (10) as in claim 8, characterized in that said lower container (13, 113) comprises internally a bottom wall (35, 135) having a bottom surface (37) inclined toward said draining hole (33, 133) to make the suctioned substances converge toward the latter.
10. Cleaning kit (10) as in claim 5, characterized in that said coupling means (215) comprise two or more clamping hooks (239) associated with said upper aspirator (212) and cooperating with said upper edge (222) in order to clamp said lower container (213) to said upper aspirator (212).
11. Cleaning kit (10) as in claim 5 or 10, characterized in that said coupling part (221) comprises a suction hole (229) to which a suction pipe (231) can be connected.
