Abstract
A cooktop pot support and a cooktop, including a support ring (1) and a plurality of foot pieces (2) disposed on the support ring (1) along a circumferential direction, where a support pad (3) is disposed on a bottom surface of the foot piece (2), where the support pad (3) is configured to be suitable for being inserted into the foot piece ( 2) along a thickness direction of the foot piece (2). In a manner of inserting and mounting the support pad ( 3) along the thickness direction of the foot piece, displacement of the support pad (3) can be limited in a plurality of directions (a radial direction and an up-down direction), to avoid possible loosening and falling off of the support pad (3) in a long-term use environment.
Description
- This application relates to a kitchen appliance, and in particular, to a cooktop pot support and a cooktop to which the cooktop pot support is applied.
- A cooktop is a commonly used kitchen cooking tool. As people have increasingly high requirements for kitchen utensils, a cooktop panel is also made of a material such as glass in a large quantity, to enable the cooktop panel to be more easily cleaned. However, when the cooktop is used, a pot support made of metal is heated to a high temperature due to proximity of the pot support to a flame. Due to a high heat conduction speed of metal, a problem such as burst of a panel made of a material such as glass caused by a high-temperature foot support directly contacting the panel. Therefore, a support pad for the pot support with a heat insulation function becomes one of indispensable components.
- The pot support is usually made of metal and includes an annular support ring, a plurality of foot pieces are disposed on the support ring, and the support pad is disposed below the each of the foot pieces. In the related art, the support pad is usually simply wrapped around and attached to a bottom part of the foot piece, and is prone to loosening or displacement after undergoing long-term cold and hot alternation, resulting in an unfirm mounting structure.
- Unless supported by sufficient evidence, the related art described herein does not mean that it is recognized that the related art is well known, before the filing date of this application, to a person of ordinary skill in a field to which this application relates.
- An objective of implementations of this application is to provide an improved cooktop pot support and a cooktop to resolve at least one of the foregoing technical problems and/or another possible technical problem not mentioned in this application.
- According to a first aspect of this application, embodiments of this application provide a cooktop pot support, including: a support ring and a plurality of foot pieces disposed on the support ring along a circumferential direction, where a support pad is disposed on a bottom surface of the foot piece, where the support pad is configured to be suitable for being inserted into the foot piece along a thickness direction of the foot piece.
- In a manner of inserting and mounting the support pad along the thickness direction of the foot piece, displacement of the support pad can be limited in a plurality of directions (a radial direction and an up-down direction), to avoid possible loosening and falling off of the support pad in a long-term use environment.
- According to an optional embodiment of this application, an insertion hole is provided on the foot piece along the thickness direction of the foot piece; the support pad includes a bottom edge portion and a first side portion that are connected in an L shape; the bottom edge portion abuts against a bottom edge of the foot piece; and a limiting post that is inserted into the insertion hole is disposed on the first side portion.
- According to an optional embodiment of this application, the limiting post includes a limiting rod and a limiting boss; two ends of the limiting rod are respectively connected to the first side portion and the limiting boss; and the limiting boss is configured to easily pass through the insertion hole and limit displacement of the support pad in an insertion direction.
- According to an optional embodiment of this application, the limiting boss includes a first end surface that is connected to the limiting rod and a second end surface that is away from the limiting rod; and a diameter of the limiting boss gradually decreases from the first end surface to the second end surface, where a diameter of the first end surface is greater than a pore size of the insertion hole; and a diameter of the second end surface is less than the pore size of the insertion hole.
- According to an optional embodiment of this application, the limiting post has an elastic hollow structure.
- According to an optional embodiment of this application, the pore size of the insertion hole is not less than a diameter of the limiting rod.
- According to an optional embodiment of this application, a distance between the first end surface and the first side portion in the insertion direction is close to a thickness of the foot piece.
- According to an optional embodiment of this application, the support pad further includes a second side portion opposite to the first side portion, and a third side portion that is located between the first side portion and the second side portion and that is parallel to the thickness direction of the foot piece; the second side portion is configured to allow the limiting post to be inserted into the insertion hole; and an outer side surface of the third side portion is flush with an outer side surface of the foot piece.
- According to an optional embodiment of this application, the support pad is made of an elastic thermal insulation material.
- According to a second aspect of this application, embodiments of this application provide a cooktop, including a drip pan and the cooktop pot support according to any one of the foregoing embodiments.
- It should be noted herein that, unless otherwise specified, expressions of directions in this application are based on a common use state of a gas cooktop.
- It should be noted herein that terms "first" and "second" appearing in this specification are merely used for an objective of description, and are not used to indicate relative importance. Moreover, the terms "first" and "second" are not intended to define a quantity of features limited to the terms "first" and "second". In addition, the terms "first" and "second" are not intended to define a logical relationship or a sequential relationship between the features limited to the terms "first" and "second".
- The foregoing content of this application is not used to describe all possible implementations of this application. In the entire application, guidance is provided by using examples in many cases, and the examples may be used in various feasible combinations.

- As shown in
FIG. 1 , an embodiment of this application discloses a cooktop pot support, configured to support a pot. The cooktop pot support includes a support ring 1 and a plurality of foot pieces 2 disposed on the support ring 1 along a circumferential direction. A support pad 3 is disposed on a bottom surface of the foot piece 2, and the support pad 3 is configured to be suitable for being inserted into the foot piece 2 along a thickness direction of the foot piece 2. - An insertion direction is described in detail herein. An example in which the support ring 1 is in a shape of a circle is used. The thickness direction of the foot piece 2 refers to a tangent direction (which is also a direction X in
FIG. 5 andFIG. 7 ) of an intersection between the circle on which the support ring 1 is located and a straight line on which the foot piece 2 is located. - In a manner of inserting and mounting the support pad 3 along the thickness direction of the foot piece 2, displacement of the support pad 3 can be limited in a plurality of directions (a radial direction and an up-down direction), to avoid possible loosening and falling off of the support pad 3 in a long-term use environment.
- According to an exemplary embodiment of this application, as shown in
FIG. 2 , an insertion hole 21 is provided on the foot piece 2 along the thickness direction of the foot piece 2.FIG. 3 is a three-dimensional view of a support pad 3. As shown inFIG. 3 , the support pad 3 includes a bottom edge portion 31 and a first side portion 32 that are connected in an L shape. The bottom edge portion 31 is configured to abut against a bottom edge of the foot piece 2. The bottom edge portion 31 is generally made of an elastic thermal insulation material, which can not only buffer a weight from the pot and the pot support, but also prevent heavy heat from being transferred to a cooktop panel to damage the cooktop panel. A limiting post 33 extending along the thickness direction of the foot piece 2 is disposed on the first side portion 32, and the limiting post 33 may pass through and be inserted into the insertion hole 21 to enable the support pad 3 to be fixedly connected to the foot piece 2. - According to an exemplary embodiment of this application, as shown in
FIG. 3 , the limiting post 33 includes a limiting rod 331 and a limiting boss 332. One end of the limiting rod 331 is connected to the first side portion 32 and extends along the thickness direction of the foot piece 2 to the limiting boss 332 at the other end of the limiting rod 331. The limiting boss 332 is configured to easily pass through the insertion hole 21 and limit displacement of the support pad 3 in the insertion direction, as shown inFIG. 4 to FIG. 7 . Therefore, the support pad 3 can also be fixed in the thickness direction of the foot piece 2, and stable connection between the support pad 3 and the foot piece 2 is implemented in all directions. - According to an exemplary embodiment of this application, as shown in
FIG. 3 , the limiting boss 332 includes a first end surface 332a that is connected to the limiting rod 331 and a second end surface 332b that is away from the limiting rod 331. A diameter of the limiting boss 332 gradually decreases from the first end surface 332a to the second end surface 332b. When the support pad 3 is mounted, the second end surface 332b first comes into contact with one end of the insertion hole 21. To facilitate the limiting boss 332 to be inserted into the insertion hole 21, a diameter of the second end surface 332b is less than a pore size of the insertion hole 21. As the limiting boss 332 continues to move along the thickness direction of the foot piece 2, the first end surface 332 reaches the other end of the insertion hole 21. To prevent the support pad 3 from falling off in the insertion direction, a diameter of the first end surface 332 is set to be greater than the pore size of the insertion hole 21. - Further, the limiting post 33 has an elastic hollow structure. After the second end surface 332b enters the insertion hole 21, the elastic hollow limiting boss 332 is more likely to be squeezed by a hole wall of the insertion hole 21 and becomes smaller, so that the insertion process is smoother.
- Further, the pore size of the insertion hole 21 is not less than a diameter of the limiting rod 331. Preferably, the limiting rod 331 is in interference fit with the insertion hole 21, which helps improve stability of the insertion.
- According to an exemplary embodiment of this application, a distance between the first end surface 332a and the first side portion 32 in the insertion direction is close to a thickness of the foot piece 2. Therefore, as shown in
FIG. 5 , after the first end surface 332a passes through the insertion hole 21, the foot piece 2 is jointly clamped, in the thickness direction of the foot piece 2, by the first end surface 332a and the first side portion 32, and the displacement of the support pad 3 in the insertion direction is completely limited. - According to an exemplary embodiment of this application, as shown in
FIG. 3 , the support pad 3 further includes a second side portion 34 opposite to the first side portion 32, and a third side portion 35 that is located between the first side portion 32 and the second side portion 34 and that is parallel to the thickness direction of the foot piece 2. In addition, as shown inFIG. 2 , a receding space is reserved at a position of the second side portion 34 corresponding to the limiting post 33, to enable the limiting post 33 to be smoothly aligned with and inserted into the insertion hole 21. Similarly, a receding gap is reserved at a position of the foot piece 2 corresponding to the second side portion 34, so that the support pad 2 can smoothly move along the insertion direction when the support pad 2 is mounted. An outer side surface of the third side portion 35 is flush with an outer side surface of the foot piece 2, to enable an appearance of the cooktop pot support to be more flat when the cooktop pot support is viewed from a side surface. - According to an exemplary embodiment of this application, the support pad 3 is made of an elastic thermal insulation material. Optionally, the bottom edge portion 31 is made of an elastic thermal insulation material, which can absorb and buffer heat from the pot support and the pot, and can prevent the cooktop panel from being damaged by overheating.
- An embodiment of this application further provides a cooktop. The cooktop includes the foregoing cooktop pot support. Further, the cooktop further includes a drip pan, the drip pan is disposed between the cooktop panel and the foot piece 2, and the support pad 3 is disposed between the drip pan and the foot piece 2.
- The components in different embodiments may be combined with each other in any feasible manner to achieve the objective of this application.
- It should be additionally noted that this application should not be understood as being limited to the implementations described above, but should be understood as covering all possible implementations determined by the claims of this application with reference to content disclosed in the specification. Therefore, any simple change, equivalent variation, and modification made to the foregoing embodiments according to the technical essence of this application without departing from the content of the technical solutions of this application shall fall within the protection scope of the technical solutions of this application.
Claims (10)
- A cooktop pot support, characterized by
comprising:a support ring and a plurality of foot pieces disposed on the support ring along a circumferential direction, whereina support pad is disposed on a bottom surface of the foot piece, whereinthe support pad is configured to be suitable for being inserted into the foot piece along a thickness direction of the foot piece. - The cooktop pot support according to claim 1, characterized in thatan insertion hole is provided on the foot piece along the thickness direction of the foot piece;the support pad comprises a bottom edge portion and a first side portion that are connected in an L shape;the bottom edge portion abuts against a bottom edge of the foot piece; anda limiting post that is inserted into the insertion hole is disposed on the first side portion.
- The cooktop pot support according to claim 2, characterized in that the limiting post comprises a limiting rod and a limiting boss;two ends of the limiting rod are respectively connected to the first side portion and the limiting boss; andthe limiting boss is configured to easily pass through the insertion hole and limit displacement of the support pad in an insertion direction.
- The cooktop pot support according to claim 3, characterized in thatthe limiting boss comprises a first end surface that is connected to the limiting rod and a second end surface that is away from the limiting rod; anda diameter of the limiting boss gradually decreases from the first end surface to the second end surface, whereina diameter of the first end surface is greater than a pore size of the insertion hole; anda diameter of the second end surface is less than the pore size of the insertion hole.
- The cooktop pot support according to claim 2, 3, or 4, characterized in that the limiting post has an elastic hollow structure.
- The cooktop pot support according to claim 3 or 4, characterized in that the pore size of the insertion hole is not less than a diameter of the limiting rod.
- The cooktop pot support according to claim 4, characterized in that
a distance between the first end surface and the first side portion in the insertion direction is close to a thickness of the foot piece. - The cooktop pot support according to claim 2, characterized in thatthe support pad further comprises a second side portion opposite to the first side portion, and a third side portion that is located between the first side portion and the second side portion and that is parallel to the thickness direction of the foot piece;the second side portion is configured to allow the limiting post to be inserted into the insertion hole; andan outer side surface of the third side portion is flush with an outer side surface of the foot piece.
- The cooktop pot support according to any one of claims 1 to 8, characterized in that the support pad is made of an elastic thermal insulation material.
- A cooktop, characterized by comprising:
a drip pan and the cooktop pot support according to any one of claims 1 to 9.
