Description

  • The subject-matter of the invention comprises a use of a maintenance valve in a vacuum gas heating device, and in particular a heater, a heating device with the said maintenance valve and a method for repeatable monitoring of heating device physical conditions, such as vacuum, and repeatable feeding of liquid heating medium into the heating device.
  • A heater with a throttle valve on the heater which acts as a cooling and high pressure regulator has been disclosed under CN201407727Y . The heater inner niche is filled with vacuum and contains a superconducting liquid. In the lower part of the heater there is a pipe for transporting hot water, which heats the superconducting liquid causing a change to its physical state. The heat transfer pipe is connected to a heat source. The throttle valve comprises a needle valve located inside the valve, a top cover and a copper tube with an inner sealing ring. The throttle valve outer space is filled with sealant, and one side of the throttle valve top cover is equipped with an external sealing ring.
  • An electric gas vacuum heating panel with the medium heated using a thermistoric heating element powered from the electricity grid featuring a top and a bottom heat exchanger, connected to each other via a series of vertical heat exchangers, which is characteristic because the hermetic vacuum insides of the connected heat exchangers (1, 2 and 3) is filled with a medium in the form of dodecafluoro-2-methylpentan-3-one/perfluoro (ethyl isopropyl ketone)/ Fluoroketone FK-5-1-12 (CF3CF2C(O)CF(CF3)2), has been disclosed under PL242532B1 .
  • A vacuum gas heater built out of heat exchangers connected with each other, with a heat energy source inside, which heats the heater heating medium has also been disclosed. There is an opening in the heater with a conduit located in it, in the form of a pipe for feeding liquid heating medium into the heater, i.e. into the heat exchangers. Before feeding the liquid heating medium, vacuum is generated inside the heat exchangers, which then aspirates the liquid heating medium. Following this, the conduit is permanently closed, by bending it for example.
  • In the disclosed solutions, a re-fill of the heater with the heating medium and adjustment of the vacuum conditions is difficult due to the permanent closure of the feed conduit, and in the solutions with the stop valve, the stop valve is not used to feed the heating medium. The present invention solves this problem by using a maintenance valve according to claim 1 in the gas vacuum heating device, which makes it possible to repeatedly control the heating device physical conditions, and in particular those inside the device and repeatedly feed the heating medium into the heating device. The invention also applies to a gas vacuum heating device with the said maintenance valve and a method for repeatable control of the heating device physical conditions, and repeatable feeding of the heating medium into the heating device.
  • The aim of the invention is a use of a maintenance valve for a vacuum gas heating device, and in particular a heater with a heat energy source, such as an electrical source, induction or a gas source. The vacuum gas heating device comprising at least one heat exchanger for a heating medium, preferably a liquid heating medium, which when heated changes its physical state to a gas, and the heating device comprising a source sub-assembly for producing heat energy distributed via the heating medium. The heating device comprising also a maintenance valve, which constitutes a multi-functional means for, amongst others, repeatable control of physical conditions in the said heating device, and in particular within its heat exchangers, or in other words for controlling the vacuum level and repeatable feeding of the heating medium into it. The multi-functional means is a non-return valve, and in particular a Schrader valve. The maintenance valve is attached to the heating device whereby it is connected directly or indirectly to the heating device. The connection may be a threaded connection. If the connection is indirect, then the maintenance valve is located in an indirect measure, preferably in the form of a sleeve, screwed into the opening in the heating device so that the sleeve with the non-return valve is at least partially enclosed in the vacuum gas heating device. The heat exchanger opening for the maintenance valve also features a threaded surface for connecting to the maintenance valve housing threaded surface or the opening features a threaded surface for connecting to the sleeve threaded surface.
  • The method for repeatable control of physical conditions, in particular the vacuum level, and repeatable feeding of liquid heating medium into the vacuum gas heating device comprises the following stages:
    • attaching the maintenance valve in the vacuum gas heating device opening, wherein following attachment the maintenance valve is in closed position,
    • opening the maintenance valve by connecting it to a conduit tip connecting the vacuum pump control apparatus, and generating vacuum conditions in the device heat exchanger,
    • switching the vacuum pump control apparatus function to heating medium feed through the maintenance valve into the vacuum gas heating device,
    • closing the maintenance valve by disconnecting the conduit tip from the maintenance valve. Each stage is repeatable in above following order.
  • The liquid heating medium, in particular liquid gas, is fed into the heating device in a liquid state, and after activation of a source sub-assembly which generates heat energy, the heating medium transitions into gas and fills the heat exchangers. The maintenance valve is attached in the heating device via an indirect measure, in particular a threaded sleeve, so that after installing the maintenance valve in the heating device with the sleeve, the maintenance valve together with the sleeve are at least partially inside the heat exchanger, so that only a part of the maintenance valve required to connect it to the vacuum pump control apparatus conduit tip is visible on the outside.
  • The maintenance valve used in the vacuum gas heating device allows for repeatable control of vacuum in the heating device, both during initial filling the device with heating medium and after it has been filled with a liquid heating medium, when the vacuum level may change. Vacuum level and correct quantity of liquid medium in the heating device promote high heating device efficiency. Therefore, use of a maintenance valve in heating devices makes it possible to automate the method for generating vacuum and filling the device with liquid heating medium, which in turn translates into more economic and efficient production. Furthermore, the maintenance valve is entirely tight and resistant to high temperatures, and as such it may be powder coated in a colour matching a heating device colour, and in particular of a designer heater.
  • The invention is depicted on the diagram below, with given figures showing the following:
    • Fig. 1. maintenance valve in a heating device comprising a vacuum gas heater,
    • Fig. 2. maintenance valve in an indirect measure in the form of a sleeve,
    • Fig. 3. expanded view of maintenance valve comprising a Schrader valve and sleeve.
  • The invention pertains to use, in a vacuum gas heating device, in the embodiment comprising a vacuum gas heater 1 with an electric power source for a heating element comprising a source of heat energy. The heater comprising a heat exchangers 11 for a liquid heating medium in the form of liquid gas. In one heat exchanger 11 there is threaded hole 12 for maintenance valve 2 in the embodiment comprising Schrader valve 21 in sleeve 22. As sleeve 22 has an external threaded surface, together with Schrader valve 21 it is screwed into heat exchanger 11 threaded hole 12. Schrader valve 21 also features an at least partially threaded housing, so that the connection between sleeve 22 and Schrader valve 21 is also a threaded connection. However, any type of connection is feasible. As standard a Schrader valve contains core 211 for controlled opening and closing of the valve, and the said core is enclosed in valve sleeve 212. Once core 211, flush with a spring in the valve sleeve, has been pressed, the Schrader valve opens, whereas in its resting position, the Schrader valve is closed. Core 211 is covered by cap 23. The method for repeatable control of physical conditions and repeatable feeding of liquid heating medium into vacuum gas heating device 1 using maintenance valve 2 comprises the following stages:
    • attaching maintenance valve 2 in vacuum gas heating device 1 opening 2, wherein following attachment the maintenance valve is closed and it comprises a Schrader non-return valve 21,
    • opening maintenance valve 2 by connecting it to a conduit tip connecting the vacuum pump control apparatus, and generating vacuum conditions in device heat exchanger 11,
    • switching the vacuum pump control apparatus function to liquid heating medium feed through the maintenance valve into vacuum gas heating device 1,
    • closing maintenance valve 2 by disconnecting the conduit tip from the maintenance valve and covering Schrader valve 21 valve core 211 with cap 23. Each stage is repeatable. The heating medium is fed to heating device 1 in a liquid state, and after activation of a source sub-assembly which generates heat energy, the heating medium transitions into gas and fills the heat exchangers.
