Abstract

The invention refers to cardboard boxes (1) specially designed to fit bags inside (16). The cardboard boxes (1) have an exit hole (5) for taps and holes (18), (19), (3) for wall mounting. The cardboard boxes have four flaps, the top (8) the lower (12) the lower half (9) and the protective flap (10). The protective flap (10) has the reinforced side (21) for durability for wall mounting, while the flap protects the bags from contact with hands during wall mounting. The flaps are secured in the lower position after placing the bags with the safety tongue (4) that is inserted in the top flap (8) The cardboard boxes are made from heavy-duty cardboard or corrugated or glossy depending on the purpose and use.

Description

CARDBOARD BOX PACKAGING FOR LIQUIDS IN BAGS SUITABLE FOR WALL MOUNTING
DESCRIPTION
This invention refers to cardboard boxes specially designed to internally hold bags with an outlet spout for a tap and a hole for wall mounting.
The cardboard boxes for packing bags, that contain beverages and other household liquids equipped with a tap for easy dispensing are well known.
The rigid cardboard boxes are used to hold bags made of plastic membrane, with an attached tap for dispensing liquids. The use of these bags ensures the protection of the liquids from environmental contamination, to remain safe and unaltered for long periods of time. The rigid cardboard boxes store and protect the bags from damage during transport and use due to the sensitivity of their construction materials.
The cardboard boxes in circulation we know are mainly used to hold bags containing alcoholic beverages or soft drinks. These are placed on cabinets, tables, or special bases to facilitate the dispensing of liquids.
According to the present invention the proposed cardboard boxes are characterised by the holes they have for wall mounting, in addition to their placement on cabinets, tables or special bases. They also have an inner flap to prevent contamination that can be caused by contact of bags with hands during wall mounting or transport.
The cardboard boxes according to the present invention are constructed by a cardboard sheet which has already cut, and bent parts and all required parts glued, so when desired you can create the box in which you will place the filled with liquid bag along with the adjusted tap.
The invention is described below with the help of an example and with reference to the attached drawings, in which:

Figure 1 depicts the box, according to the present invention, showing the box (1) with the top flap (8) with the openings (2) on the flap, so the hand can pass through and lift it and slit (3) for the mounting on the wall hook to pass. Also, the safety lock tongue (4) of the top flap (8) and the hole (5) with engraved scores for passing the spout. Figure 2 depicts, in addition to those in figure (1), the slit for the extension to pass (6) of the flap (8) and the mounting hook (7) for the wall.
Figure 3 depicts the box (1) cut along the longitudinal axis showing the top flap (8), the lower flap (12), the lower half flap (9) and the protective flap (10). The protective flap (10) shows the hole (18) for passing the hook (7) and the double folded side (21) that is used to reinforce the mounting point of the cardboard box to the wall with the hook. On the top flap (8) and on the lower flap (12) is the hole (3) through which the mounting hook passes. (7).
Figure 4 depicts the box (1) in perspective view from above with the flaps open (8), (12), (9) and (10). The lower flap (12) shows the holes (2), which are the handle, the slit (3) for passing the hook (7) and slit (23) for passing the tuck flap (13) of the upper flap (8) when closing. The upper flap (8) shows the slit (11) for passing the safety tongue (4) when closing. The protective flap (10) shows the opening (18) for passing the hook (7) and the folded extension (22). On the box (1) the opening (9) for passing the hook (7) and the hole (5) for passing the tap.
Figure 5 shows the box (1) cut along the longitudinal axis with the flaps open (9), (10) and (12). On the top flap (12) you can see the opening (17) that is correspondent to the hole (2) on the top flap (8).
Figure 6 shows the box (1) cut along the transverse axis with the flaps open (8), (9) and (12).
Figure 7 shows the side view (1) with the hook attached (7).
Figure (8) shows the rear view of the box (1) with the hook attached (7).

The dimensions of the cardboard box are not limited to the attached figures but can be adjusted to the clients’ requirements.
The quality of the paper can be simple heavy-duty, corrugated, glossy, monochrome, or multi-coloured with advertisements on the side panels or with photos relevant to the product.

Claims

1. Cardboard boxes for the packaging of liquids in bags suitable for wall mounting. The cardboard boxes (1) are specifically designed to be fitted with bags (16) inside. The cardboard boxes (1) have the exit spout (5) tap outlet (13) and the openings (19), (18) and (3) for wall mounting. The cardboard boxes (1) have 4 overlapping flaps (8), (9), (12) and (10) to ensure the sturdiness of the boxes during storage, transport, and use. The flaps (8) and (12) have openings (2) and (17) that are used as a handle during transport. The flaps (8), (10) and (12) have holes (3) and (18) and the box (1) has an opening (19) for passing the mounting hook (7) to the wall. The flaps (8), (9) and (12) are secured with the safety tongue (4) which connects the body of the box with the upper flap through the slit (11) after placing the tuck flap (13) of the upper flap (8) in the tuck flap (23) of the lower flap (12).
2. Cardboard boxes for packaging of liquids in bags suitable for wall mounting according to claim 1, which are characterised by the flap (10) that has the folded end (21) to reinforce the durability of the box when mounting on the wall.
3. Cardboard boxes for packaging of liquids in bags suitable for wall mounting according to claim 1, which are characterised by the flap (10) that protects the bags (16) from contamination and damage when in contact with human hands.
4. Cardboard boxes for packaging of liquids in bags suitable for wall mounting according to claim 1 , 2 and 3 which are characterised by the fact they are transported folded at predefined creases and are unfolded when the bags are placed inside.
5. Cardboard boxes for packaging of liquids in bags suitable for wall mounting according to claim 1, 2 and 3, which are characterised by the fact the crease and folding of the cardboard section (24) constitutes a reinforced support panel for supporting the mounting hook.
