Description

SYSTEM FOR CONTROLLING LIGHTING EQUIPMENT, PREDICTION APPARATUS, CONTROLLER AND METHOD THEREOF TECHNICAL FIELD
  • Embodiments of the present disclosure generally relate to the field of lighting, and more particularly, to a system for controlling lighting equipment, a prediction apparatus, a controller and method thereof.
  • BACKGROUND
  • This section introduces aspects that may facilitate better understanding of the present disclosure. Accordingly, the statements of this section are to be read in this light and are not to be understood as admissions about what is in the prior art or what is not in the prior art.
  • The subway platform lights are always on. These lights are set to same brightness as it is inconvenience to manually adjust the brightness based on the existence of the people. A current solution is provided to change the brightness of a certain area, for example, DALI (Digital Addressable Lighting Interface) dimming commands may be sent to a group of lights to adjust the brightness of the area.
  • In a subway station or train station, for the empty area (for example, platform of suburb's station) , lights need to be always on without knowing the chance of taking off passengers.
  • There is a possible way to control the light in empty area by using PIR (pyroelectric infrared) sensor. For example, when a door of a train is open, there is a passenger taking off the train, the PIR sensor may detect the passenger, and send the signal to a controller, which may send DALI dimming commands to a driver to control the brightness of the light.
  • In one example, the light in empty area may work in an energy-saving mode under which the brightness of the light is about 40%of normal brightness, when the PIR sensor detects a passenger taking off the train, the controller may control the driver to  drive the light to 100%of normal brightness.
  • SUMMARY
  • The inventor found that: in the possible way mentioned above, the empty area is dark when the train arrives, and the light will turn brighter only after a passenger takes off; that is to say, passenger’s tendency of taking off the train will not be predicted, thus the light will not turn brighter before the train arrives.
  • In general, embodiments of the present disclosure provide a system for controlling lighting equipment, a prediction apparatus, a controller and methods thereof. In the embodiments, a passenger with tendency to take off a train carriage can be detected according to pictures captured inside the train carriage, the detected result will be used to control a light at a station, therefore, the light will turn brighter before the train arrives.
  • In a first aspect, there is provided a system for controlling lighting equipment, the system including:
  • a prediction apparatus, configured to detect a passenger with tendency to take off a train carriage, according to a picture captured inside the train carriage; and
  • a controller, configured to generate a controlling signal according to a detecting result of the prediction apparatus, the controlling signal being used to control a driver to drive a lighting equipment in predetermined area of a station,
  • when there is at least one passenger with tendency to take off the train carriage being detected, the controlling signal controlling the driver to dim brightness of the lighting equipment up to a predetermined level before the train arrives at the station.
  • In at least one embodiment, the prediction apparatus includes:
  • a prediction unit, configured to detect the passenger with tendency to take off the train carriage by using artificial intellectual (AI) graphic identification algorithm, and generate a first signal according to the detecting result.
  • In at least one embodiment, the prediction unit detects the passenger with  tendency to take off the train carriage, according to the passenger in a first area near a door of the train carriage.

  • First aspect of embodiments
  • A system for controlling lighting equipment is provided in a first aspect of  embodiments.
  • Fig. 1 is a diagram of system for controlling lighting equipment in accordance with an embodiment of the present disclosure.
  • As shown in Fig. 1, a system 100 for controlling lighting equipment includes a prediction apparatus 10 and a controller 20.
  • The prediction apparatus 10 is configured to detect a passenger Po with tendency to take off a train carriage 201, according to a picture captured inside the train carriage 201. For example, the picture may be captured by a camera 202 inside the train carriage 201.
  • The controller 20 is configured to generate a controlling signal Cs according to a detecting result of the prediction apparatus 10. In at least one embodiment, the controller 20 may be clod server.
  • The controlling signal Cs is used to control a driver 30 to drive a lighting equipment 40 in a predetermined area 50 of a station. The predetermined area 50 may be an area near a door 2012 of the train carriage 201 when a train 200 arrives at the station.
  • When there is at least one passenger Po with tendency to take off the train carriage 201 being detected, the controlling signal Cs sent by the controller 20 controls the driver 30 to dim brightness of the lighting equipment 40 up to a predetermined level before the train 200 arrives the station.
  • According to the first aspect of the embodiments, a passenger with tendency to take off a train carriage can be detected according to pictures captured inside the train carriage, the detected result will be used to control a light equipment at a station, therefore, the light equipment will turn brighter before the train arrives at the station.
  • As shown in Fig. 1, the prediction apparatus 10 includes a prediction unit 101. The prediction unit 101 is configured to detect the passenger Po with tendency to take off the train carriage 201 by using artificial intellectual (AI) graphic identification algorithm, and generate a first signal S1 according to the detecting result. In one example, the artificial intellectual (AI) graphic identification algorithm may be skeleton-based action  recognition algorithm, by which a person with certain action or gesture in the picture will be recognized. As for the working principle of the prediction apparatus 10, related art may be referred to get more details.
  • In at least one embodiment, the prediction unit 101 detects the passenger Po with tendency to take off the train carriage 201, according to the passenger Po in a first area 2011 near a door 2012 of the train carriage 201.
  • For an example, when the passenger Po is standing in the first area 2011, the prediction unit 101 determines the passenger Po having tendency to take off the train carriage 201.
  • For another example, when the passenger Po is standing in the first area 2011 and performing predetermined action, the prediction unit 101 determines the passenger Po having tendency to take off the train carriage 201. The predetermined action may be carrying a bag, and/or carrying a suitcase, and/or facing the door 2012, and/or moving towards the door 2012, etc.
  • In at least one embodiment, the size of the first area 2011 may be fixed. The location of the first area 2011 may be changed according to information which indicates which door will be open after the train 20 arriving at the station. For example, when the information indicates a right door will be open at the station, the prediction unit 101 will change the first area 2011 to a location near the right door of the train carriage 201; when the information indicates a left door will be open at the station, the prediction unit 101 will change the first area 2011 to a location near the left door of the train carriage 201.
  • In at least one embodiment, the prediction unit 101 may start the detecting at a predetermined moment before the train 200 arrives at the station. The predetermined moment may be several seconds (for example, 3 seconds) before the train 200 arrives at the station. For example, the train 200 or a server (not shown) may broadcast signal, to notify the train 200 will arrive at the station; the prediction unit 101 may start the detecting when receiving the broadcast signal, or the prediction unit 101 may calculate the moment to start the detecting according to the received broadcast signal.
  • The information which indicates which door will be open after the train 20 arriving at the station will be included in the broadcast signal.
  • According to Fig. 1, the prediction apparatus 10 further includes a communication unit 102. The communication unit 102 is configured to send the first signal S1 generated by the prediction unit 101 to the controller 20 via wireless communication. In one example, the wireless communication may be Bluetooth communication.
  • In at least one embodiment, the communication unit 102 may further receive the broadcast signal.
  • When or after receiving the first signal S1, the controller 20 may generate the controlling signal Cs according to a working mode of the lighting equipment 40 in the predetermined area 50 of the station.
  • For example, when the lighting equipment 40 in the predetermined area 50 of the station is working under an energy-saving mode (for example, the brightness of the light equipment 40 is about 40%of normal brightness) , the controller 20 generates the controlling signal Cs to control the driver 30 to dim brightness of the lighting equipment 40 up to the predetermined level (for example, the brightness of the light equipment 40 is dimmed up to 100%of normal brightness) .
  • Fig. 2 is a flowchart of working flow of system 100 for controlling lighting equipment. As shown in Fig. 2, the working flow 2000 include the following blocks:
