Abstract

The present invention relates to a dishwasher (1) comprising a body (2); a washing tub (3) which is provided in the body (2) and wherein the washing process is performed; a door (4) which enables the washing tub (3) to be isolated from the outer environment and which is opened downwards by rotating around the horizontal axis; a decorative panel which is attached onto the door (4); a hinge (5) which enables the door (4) to be connected so as to move on the body (2); a hinge arm (6) which extends from the door (4) towards the lower section of the washing tub (3); at least one pulley (7) which is provided under the hinge arm (6); and a transmission member (7), one end of which extends as connected to the hinge arm (6) and passes over the pulley (7) and the other end of which is connected to a movement member (8) which slidably moves in the horizontal plane.

Description

The present invention relates to a dishwasher comprising a decorative panel
In dishwashers, the washing process is performed in the washing tub. The washing tub is isolated from the outer environment by means of a door. In the dishwasher, the door is opened by rotating on the horizontal axis such that the lower edge thereof remains fixed on the body. The door is perpendicular to the floor of the environment in the closed position, and parallel to the floor of the environment in the fully open position. Today, the use of built-in dishwashers is known. The built-in dishwashers are placed in the kitchen furniture and decorative panels compatible with the kitchen furniture are attached onto the door. Thus, the dishwasher is completely hidden in the kitchen and an aesthetic appearance is provided. The decorative panels attached onto the door are selected by the user and mounted on the dishwasher by service staff. The decorative panel attached onto the dishwasher door varies depending on the kitchen structure and the design of the cabinets. The varying weights and sizes of the decorative panel causes difficulties in assembly.
In the state of the art European Patent No. EP1909631 , a spring which balances the weight of the door by applying a force on the door of the dishwasher and an adjustment mechanism which adjusts the tension of the spring are disclosed.
The aim of the present invention is the realization of a dishwasher comprising a balancing pulley which provides ease of use in the door opening mechanism.
The dishwasher realized in order to attain the aim of the present invention, explicated in the first claim and the respective claims thereof, comprises a body; a washing tub which is provided on the body; a door which enables the washing tub to be isolated from the outer environment; a hinge which enables the door to be connected to the body; a hinge arm connected to the hinge; and at least one pulley provided under the hinge arm. The kitchen items to be washed are placed into the washing tub. The door is closed such that the washing tub is isolated from the outer environment and the washing process is enabled to be performed. The door is connected onto the body by means of a hinge via the lower edge thereof. The door opens by rotating around the horizontal axis as connected to the body via the lower edge thereof, and the upper edge thereof moves away from the body.
The dishwasher of the present invention comprises a balancing pulley which is provided between the pulley and the movement member. By means of the balancing pulley, the weight of the decorative panel is balanced.
In an embodiment of the present invention, the dishwasher comprises a balancing pulley having a transmission line on which the transmission member moves and a balancing member which enables the transmission line to move depending on the weight of the decorative panel. By means of the balancing member, the transmission line can move so as to compensate the load transmitted from the transmission member. Thus, the need for re-adjustment for decorative panels of various weights is eliminated.
In an embodiment of the present invention, the dishwasher comprises a hole which is provided on the balancing member and a balancing shift which enables the balancing member to be fixed to the casing through the hole. By means of the movement of the balancing member on the balancing shaft, the angle of the transmission line changes and the weight which can be carried changes.
In an embodiment of the present invention, the dishwasher comprises the transmission line formed by the joining of the outer surfaces of two quarter pulleys by means of a plane provided therebetween. The transmission line comprises a vertical planar line having two quadrants at the sides thereof. Thus, the transmission member is enabled to slidably move. Consequently, the U-shaped transmission line whereon the transmission member moves is formed.
In an embodiment of the present invention, the dishwasher comprises the balancing pulley which rotatably moves on the balancing shaft as the door and the decorative panel on the door move. As the balancing pulley rotates on the balancing shaft, the angle of the transmission line changes, thus the amount of load compensated changes.
By means of the present invention, a dishwasher is realized, comprising a balancing pulley which facilitates the opening and closing of the door.
A dishwasher realized in order to attain the aim of the present invention is illustrated in the attached figures, where:

The dishwasher (1) comprises a body (2); a washing tub (3) which is provided in the body (2) and wherein the washing process is performed; a door (4) which enables the washing tub (3) to be isolated from the outer environment and which is opened downwards by rotating around the horizontal axis; a decorative panel (D) which is attached onto the door (4); a hinge (5) which enables the door (4) to be connected so as to move on the body (2); a hinge arm (6) which extends from the door (4) towards the lower section of the washing tub (3); at least one pulley (7) which is provided under the hinge arm (6); and a transmission member (9), one end of which extends as connected to the hinge arm (6) and passes over the pulley (7) and the other end of which is connected to a movement member (8) which slidably moves in the horizontal plane. The door (4) enables the washing tub (3) to be isolated from the outer environment.
The dishwasher (1) of the present invention comprises a balancing pulley (10) which is provided between the pulley (7) and the movement member and which enables the balancing the weight of the decorative panel (D) attached on the door (4). The balancing pulley (10) provides that the transmission member (9) in the horizontal plane coming from the movement member is transmitted to the pulley (7) in the vertical plane. By means of the balancing pulley (10), the weight of the decorative panel (D) on the door (4) is enabled to be balanced such that the door (4) remains stable in the half-open position.
In an embodiment of the present invention, the dishwasher (1) comprises the balancing pulley (10) having a transmission line (11) on which the transmission member (9) moves and a balancing member (12) which enables the transmission line (11) to move depending on the weight of the decorative panel (D). By means of the movement of the balancing member (12), the angle of the transmission line (11) connected to the movement element changes, thus gaining the ability to balance various weights.
In an embodiment of the present invention, the dishwasher (1) comprises a hole (13) which is provided on the balancing member (12) and a balancing shift (14) which enables the balancing member (12) to be fixed so as to move on the casing through the hole (13). The balancing pulley (10) is attached onto the casing by means of the balancing member (12). By means of the balancing shift (14) passing through hole (13) provided on the balancing member (12), the balancing pulley (10) is attached so as to move on the casing. The balancing pulley (10) can move thanks to the movement of the hole (13) over the balancing shaft (14).
In an embodiment of the present invention, the dishwasher (1) comprises the transmission line (11) where the outer surfaces of at least two opposite quarter pulleys are joined by means of a plane. By using at least two quarter pulleys, the transmission member (9) can be directed. The dimensions of the balancing pulley (10) can be determined by means of the plane provided between the two quarter pulleys. The transmission member (9) is positioned along the plane.
In an embodiment of the present invention, the dishwasher (1) comprises the balancing pulley (10) which rotatably moves on the balancing shaft (14) as the door (4) and the decorative panel (D) move. As the balancing pulley (10) rotatably moves on the balancing shaft (14), the angle of the transmission line (11) changes so as to compensate various weights. Thus, the door (4) is enabled to be carried in a semi-open position and is compatible with different decorative panels (D) used.
By means of the present invention, a dishwasher is realized, which enables the supporting of decorative panels (D) with different weights by means of the balancing pulley (10) which can move by partially rotating on the hole (13). Consequently, the door (4) is enabled to remain in a semi-open position independently of the weights of the supported decorative panels (D).

Claims

A dishwasher (1) comprising a body (2); a washing tub (3) which is provided in the body (2) and wherein the washing process is performed; a door (4) which enables the washing tub (3) to be isolated from the outer environment and which is opened downwards by rotating around the horizontal axis; a decorative panel which is attached onto the door (4); a hinge (5) which enables the door (4) to be connected so as to move on the body (2); a hinge arm (6) which extends from the door (4) towards the lower section of the washing tub (3); at least one pulley (7) which is provided under the hinge arm (6); and a transmission member (9), one end of which extends as connected to the hinge arm (6) and passes over the pulley (7) and the other end of which is connected to a movement member (8) which slidably moves in the horizontal plane, characterized by a balancing pulley (10) which is provided between the pulley (7) and the movement member and which enables the balancing the weight of the decorative panel (D) attached on the door (4).
A dishwasher (1) as in Claim 1, characterized by the balancing pulley (10) having a transmission line (11) on which the transmission member (9) moves and a balancing member (12) which enables the transmission line (11) to move depending on the weight of the decorative panel (D).
A dishwasher (1) as in Claim 2, characterized by a hole (13) which is provided on the balancing member (12) and a balancing shift (14) which enables the balancing member (12) to be fixed so as to move on the casing through the hole (13).
A dishwasher (1) as in Claim 2, characterized by the transmission line (11) where the outer surfaces of at least two opposite quarter pulleys are joined by means of a plane.
A dishwasher (1) as in Claim 3, characterized by the balancing pulley (10) which rotatably moves on the balancing shaft (14) as the door (4) and the decorative panel (D) move.
