In this way, the cover 7 can be slid onto the light fitting 5 to arrive at the state illustrated in figures 5B and 6A .

- Rotating the fastening members 51 causes, due to the threaded parts 33, 53, a sliding motion thereof with respect to the light fitting 5. More specifically, the collar 57 is moved away from the top wall 13 of the light fitting 5 and engages an inner side 63 of the top wall 37 of the cover 7 surrounding the openings 43.
- the protective transparent cover 47 forms a circumferential ridge (i.e. a male element) on the light fitting 5 which engages a circumferential wall 65 (i.e. a female element) delimiting the light emission opening 41 in the cover 7.
