The height of theskirt portion 32 may be equal to the length of the first connectingrods 231. - Specifically in this embodiment, the connecting
rods 23 extend in an up-down direction, and are preferably parallel to theumbrella shaft 1. The first connectingrods 231 and the second connectingrods 232 are parallel to each other and equal in length; quadrilateral shapes formed by thetop rods 21, the connectingrods 23, thesecond rods 22 and theumbrella shaft 1 are parallelograms, making the volume of the sunshade umbrella smaller after folding. - As shown in
Figure 5 andFigure 8 , the firsttop rods 21 or the secondtop rods 22 extend obliquely and downwards, that is to say, the inner end portions thereof is higher than the outer end portions, so as to guide rainwater, dust or fallen leaves to fall or avoid accumulation on the umbrella cloth. - The
top frame 2 comprises a plurality ofsupport rods 4 arranged obliquely. The umbrella shaft is provided with aslider 5, and theslider 5 can slide along theumbrella shaft 1 up and down to control the unfolding and folding of the sunshade umbrella by sliding. Specifically, an end portion of each of thesupport rod 4 is rotatably connected to one of the firsttop rods 21, specifically connected between the inner end portions and the outer end portions of the firsttop rods 21, and the lower end portions of thesupport rods 4 are rotatably connected to theslider 5, so that thesupport rods 4, the firsttop rods 21 and theumbrella shaft 1 form a slider-crank mechanism. Theslider 5 is specifically a sliding sleeve mounted on theumbrella shaft 1. - As shown in
Figure 5 to Figure 7 , when the sunshade umbrella is in the unfolded state, the secondtop rods 22 are located at a distance above the firsttop rods 21, and the outer end portions of the firsttop rods 21 are preferably located right below the outer end portions of the secondtop rods 22, so that the connecting rods 23 (in this embodiment, specifically the first connecting rods 231) connected to the outer end portions of both generally extend vertically, thus tighten and stretch theskirt portion 32 of theumbrella cloth 3, to display advertisements, slogans, patterns or the like thereon. - When folding is required, the
slider 5 is pulled downward, thesupport rods 4 drive the firsttop rods 21 to rotate and turn their outer end portions downward and inward; the secondtop rods 22 and the connectingrods 23 are moved downward and inward along with them; until thesupport rods 4 and theumbrella shaft 1 are close to each other, the firsttop rods 21 and theumbrella shaft 1 are close to each other, the secondtop rods 22 and the connectingrods 23 and the firsttop rods 21 are close to each other, and the folded state is achieved, as shown inFigure 8 andFigure 9 . - The sunshade umbrella is provided with the second
top rods 22 above the first top rods, and forms four-bar linkages between the firsttop rods 21, the secondtop rods 22, the connectingrods 23 and theumbrella shaft 1 through the connectingrods 23, so that the sunshade umbrella can be folded normally, and meanwhile theskirt portion 32 of theumbrella cloth 3 is stretched by the first connectingrods 231, to obtain a tightened and unfoldedskirt portion 32, which remains unchanged in shape and is located on the side of the sunshade umbrella, suitable for providing advertisements, slogans, or patterns thereon, and has a good display effect; moreover, thetop frame 2 is reinforced through the secondtop rods 22, which gives the sunshade good strength. - In this embodiment, "rotatably connecting" specifically refers to "pivotally connecting", which may adopt screws, pins, or rivets.
