Description

  • This application claims priority from Chinese Patent Application No. CN 2021210535342 filed on May 17, 2021 .
  • Technical Field
  • The present disclosure belongs to canopy field, specifically relates to a canopy.
  • Background
  • Canopies are very common in daily life and are commonly used outdoors. The traditional canopy has a small shading area, and an eave-type canopy with an eave structure is designed in order to increase the shading area after the canopy is unfolded. Specifically, top corners of the canopy are provided with overhanging rods extending outside, and a surrounding cloth is arranged on the overhanging rods, such that the purpose of increasing the sunshade area is achieved. In the existing eave-type canopy, the eave rods usually stretch out along with the unfolding of canopy frame, and after the canopy is unfolded, the eave rods cannot be adjusted, for example the eave rods cannot be retracted or the stretched length thereof cannot be adjusted, thus the use of the canopy is not flexible enough.

At the same time, each overhanging rod 101 can be locked in its stretched position and can be stably maintained in the stretched position.
  • Embodiment 2
  • Referring to Figs. 8 to 15, the difference between this embodiment and Embodiment 1 is that the locking devices 6 are different, and the overhanging rods 201 adopt a lightweight solid glass-fiber rod, and the outer diameter thereof is much smaller than that of the flat tube used in Embodiment 1. Others are basically the same as in Embodiment 1.
  • In this embodiment, as shown in Figs. 12 to 14, each of the locking devices 6 comprises a locking member 202, the locking member 202 is specifically an elastic piece having elasticity, and is bent to has a first end portion 204 and a second end portion 205, the first end portion 204 abuts against the outer surface of the overhanging rod 201, and the second end portion 205 is provided with a locking hole 115. A plurality overhanging eave joints 106 are provided on the outer top rods 102 of the top frame 2, and the overhanging eave joints 106 are fixed on the outer top rods 102 through overhanging eave joint pull rivets 108. Each locking member 107 is disposed within one of the overhanging rods 201, the overhanging rod 201 slidably passes through the overhanging eave joint 106 and passes through the locking hole 115 of the locking member 107, and the overhanging eave joint 106 has a space for fingers to enter to press the locking member 107.
  • The section area of the locking hole 115 is larger than the section area of the overhanging rod 201. When the angle between the centerline of the locking hole 115 and the length direction of the overhanging rod 201 is greater than a critical value and the overhanging rod 201 is against the hole wall of the locking hole 115, the locking device 6 is in the locked state; when the angle is smaller than or equal to the critical value so that the overhanging rod 201 can slide in the locking hole 115, the locking device 6 is in the unlocked state. The critical value can be 5 degrees, 2 degrees, or even zero, that is to say, when the length direction of the overhanging rod 201 and the centerline of the locking hole 115 are parallel to each other or even coincide with each other, the overhanging rod 201 can move in the locking hole 115; when the centerline of the locking hole 115 deviates from the length direction of the overhanging rod 201, the overhanging rod 201 is locked against the hole walls on opposite sides of the locking hole 115 and cannot slide relative to the outer top rod 102. "section of the locking hole 115" specifically refers to the section of the locking hole 115 in the plane where the second end portion 205 of the locking member 202 is located, and "the centerline of the locking hole 115" is perpendicular to the plane where the second end portion 205 of the locking member 202 is located; " section of the overhanging rod 201" specifically refers to the section of the overhanging rod 201 perpendicular to its length direction.
  • As shown in Fig. 13, the two end portions of the overhanging rod 201 are further provided with stop sleeves 203, the stop sleeves 203 are sleeved on the two end portions of the overhanging rod 201, and the section area of the stop sleeves 203 is at least larger than the section area of the locking hole 115, so as to retain the overhanging rod 201 on the top frame 2 so as not to fall off when the states of the overhanging rod 201 is converted.
  • When the canopy frame 1 is in the unfolded state, press the second end portion of one locking member 202 to rotate it at a certain angle, until the angle between the centerline of the locking hole 115 and the length direction of the overhanging rod 201 is smaller than or equal to the critical value, the overhanging rod 201 and the locking hole 115 can slide relative to each other, and the overhanging rod 201 is stretched out to any position (all are regarded as stretched positions), the locking member is released, the locking member is reset, the angle by which the centerline of the locking hole 115 deviates from the length direction of the overhanging rod 201 is greater than the above-mentioned critical value, and the overhanging rod 201 abuts against the hole walls on opposite sides of the locking hole 115 and is thus locked.
  • In this embodiment, the conversion of the overhanging rod 201 between its stretched position and its retracted position is independent of the unfolding or folding of the canopy frame 1, and depending on specific needs (e.g., eaves are required or not, the size of the eaves), the overhanging rod 201 can be stretched or retracted accordingly, in particular, after the canopy is unfolded, the overhanging rod 201 can be flexibly selected to stretch to any length or retract, and can be adjusted steplessly, and after the canopy is folded, the overhanging rods 201 can be retracted without occupying additional space. At the same time, each overhanging rod 201 can be locked at its any position and can be stably maintained in the stretched position or retracted position.
  • Embodiment 3
  • Referring to Figs. 16 to 19, the difference between this embodiment and Embodiment 2 is the locking member. Others are basically the same as in Embodiment 2.
  • In this embodiment, the overhanging rods 201 adopt a solid glass-fiber rod, and the outer diameter thereof is much smaller than that of the flat tube used in Embodiment 1. The locking member 301 is U-shaped as a whole, a middle portion thereof is bent and has opposite first and second end portions, and the first portion and the second end portion are respectively provided with locking holes 115. The locking member 301 is disposed within the overhanging rod 201, the overhanging rod 201 slidably passes through the overhanging eave joint 106 and passes through the two locking holes 115 of the locking member 107, and the overhanging eave joint 106 has a space for fingers to enter to press the locking member 107.
  • The section areas of the two locking holes 115 are larger than the section area of the overhanging rod 201, preferably the section areas of the two locking holes 115 are equal. When the angle between the centerlines of the respective locking holes 115 and the length direction of the overhanging rod 201 is greater than a critical value and the overhanging rod 201 is against the hole walls of the locking holes 115, the locking device 6 is in the locked state. When the angle is smaller than or equal to the critical value so that the overhanging rod 201 can slide in the locking holes 115, the locking device 6 is in the unlocked state. The critical value can be 5 degrees, 2 degrees, or even zero, that is to say, when the length direction of the overhanging rod 201 and the centerlines of the locking holes 115 are parallel to each other or even coincide with each other, the overhanging rod 201 can move in the locking holes 115. Once the centerline of one of the locking holes 115 deviates from the length direction of the overhanging rod 201, the overhanging rod 201 is locked against the hole walls on opposite sides of this locking hole 115 and cannot slide relative to the outer top rod 102. The two locking holes 115 deviate from the overhanging rod 201 in opposite directions. "section of the locking hole 115" specifically refers to the section of the locking hole 115 in the plane where the first end portion or the second end portion of the locking member 301 is located, and "the centerline of the locking hole 115" is perpendicular to the plane where the first end portion or the second end portion of the locking member 301 is located.
  • As shown in Fig. 18, the two end portions of the overhanging rod 201 are further provided with stop sleeves 203, the stop sleeves 203 are sleeved on the two end portions of the overhanging rod 201, and the section area of the stop sleeves 203 is at least larger than the section area of the locking hole 115, so as to retain the overhanging rod 201 on the top frame 2 so as not to fall off when the state of the overhanging rod 201 is converted.
  • When the canopy frame 1 is in the unfolded state, press the locking member 301 to get the first end portion and the second end portion close to each other, until both the angles between the centerlines of the two locking holes 115 thereon and the length direction of the overhanging rod 201 are smaller than or equal to the critical value, the overhanging rod 201 and the locking holes 115 can slide relative to each other, and the overhanging rod 201 is stretched out to any position (all are regarded as stretched positions), the locking member 301 is released, the locking member 301 is reset, the first end portion and the second end portion thereof are opened outward, the angles by which the centerlines of the locking holes 115 deviate from the length direction of the overhanging rod 201 are greater than the above-mentioned critical value, and the overhanging rod 201 abuts against the hole walls on opposite sides of the locking holes 115 and is thus locked.
  • In this embodiment, the conversion of each overhanging rod 201 between its stretched position and its retracted position is independent of the unfolding or folding of the canopy frame 1, and depending on specific needs (e.g., eaves are required or not, the size of the eaves), the overhanging rod 201 can be extended or retracted accordingly, in particular, after the canopy is unfolded, the overhanging rod 201 can be flexibly selected to stretch to any length or retract, and can be adjusted steplessly, and after the canopy is folded, the overhanging rod 201 can be retracted without occupying additional space. At the same time, each overhanging rod 201 can be locked at its any position, the locking is more firm, and it can be stably maintained in the stretched position or retracted position.
  • Embodiment 4
  • Referring to Figs. 20 to 26, the difference between this embodiment and Embodiment 2 is the locking device 6. Others are basically the same as in Embodiment 2.
  • In this embodiment, each overhanging rod 201 is a solid glass-fiber rod, and the outer diameter thereof is much smaller than that of the flat tube used in Embodiment 1. Referring to Figs. 24 to 26, each locking member 107 comprises one locking piece or a plurality of stacked locking pieces 401. Specifically, each locking piece 401 is respectively provided with a locking hole 115. The locking piece 401 is movably disposed within the overhanging rod 106 on the outer top rod 102, the overhanging rod 201 slidably passes through the overhanging eave joint 106 along its length direction and passes through the locking holes 115 of the respective locking pieces 401. Each locking piece 401 has an inner end portion 403 and an outer end portion 404 located on opposite sides of the locking hole 115, the overhanging eave joint 106 has a stop portion 405 located on the side of the locking piece 401 (right side as shown in the figure), and one side surface of the inner end portion 403 of the locking piece 401 (the right side surface in the figure) abuts against the stop portion 405. Each locking device 6 further comprises an elastic member 402 for biasing the outer end portion 404 of the locking piece 401 toward the side (i.e., the right side) where the stop portion 405 is located. The elastic member 402 is specifically a spring disposed on the left side of the locking piece 401, the elastic member 402 has a through hole for the overhanging rod 201 to pass through, the elastic member 402 and the stop portion 405 are located on the left and right sides of the locking piece 401, respectively, and the left end of the elastic member 402 abuts against the inner wall of the overhanging eave joint 106 and the right end abuts against the outer end portion 404 of the locking piece 401.
"section of the locking hole 115" specifically refers to the section of the locking hole 115 in the plane where the locking piece 401 is located, and "the centerline of the locking hole 115" is perpendicular to the plane where the locking piece 401 is located.
  • When the canopy frame 1 is in the unfolded state, press the outer end portion of the locking piece 401 to the left, until the angle between the centerline of the locking hole 115 thereon and the length direction of the overhanging rod 201 is smaller than or equal to the critical value, the overhanging rod 201 and the locking hole 115 can slide relative to each other, and the overhanging rod 201 is stretched out to any position (all are regarded as stretched positions), the locking piece 401 is released, the outer end portion of the locking piece 401 is reset under the elastic reset force of the elastic member 402, the angle by which the centerline of the locking hole 115 deviates from the length direction of the overhanging rod 201 is greater than the above-mentioned critical value, and the overhanging rod 201 abuts against the hole walls on opposite sides of the locking hole 115 and is thus locked.
  • The embodiments described above are only for illustrating the technical concepts and features of the present disclosure, and are intended to make those skilled in the art being able to understand the present disclosure and thereby implement it, and should not be concluded to limit the protective scope of this disclosure.
