Abstract

A wireless communication network being operated so as to comprise a plurality of cells comprises a base station configured for operating at least one cell of the plurality of cells and for providing content within the at least one cell. The network comprises a plurality of user equipments. The base station is configured for generating a first multicast signal for the at least one cell based on a first deduction from the content and for generating a second multicast signal for the at least one cell based on a second deduction from the content. The base station is configured for providing the first multicast signal using a first unicast frame of the wireless communication network to a first group of UEs and the second multicast signal using the first or a second unicast frame of the wireless communication network to a second group of UEs.
