Description

DESCRIPTION DESCRIPTION
TITRE : Composition de maquillage avec tenue et brillance TITLE: Makeup composition with hold and shine
DOMAINE DE L'INVENTION FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to the cosmetics field and in particular to cosmetic compositions for making up keratin materials, in particular the lips.
ETAT DE LA TECHNIQUE STATE OF THE ART
Current lip make-up products are often categorized into products with good color retention or gloss products. For a double effect of color hold and shine, the products generally come in the form of a combination of formulas requiring a double gesture to obtain a film having the desired properties, with a first base formula otherwise called 'base coat' applied to the lips to provide color and hold, and a second formula to apply to the first, otherwise called 'top coat', generally colorless and providing a shiny film.
But there remains the need to develop products that can be applied in a single gesture, having both the performance of color retention and the performance of shine and which are homogeneous (homogeneous color). In addition to the simplicity of use, the application in a single gesture also allows for a thinner film (a single layer on the lips, therefore less material deposited).
The Applicant has precisely developed a homogeneous one-step composition making it possible to meet this expectation, by combining a silicone-polyurethane polymer, one or more linear or branched C8-C19 alkanes and one or more phenyl silicone oils.
This association allows to have an immediate shine superior or equal to the products on the market, an improved shine hold over time, a product with a unique gesture, and macroscopically homogeneous.
EXPOSE DE L'INVENTION This composition is advantageous as a make-up composition for keratin materials, in particular the lips. DISCLOSURE OF THE INVENTION
A first aspect of the invention is therefore a homogeneous cosmetic composition for caring for and/or making up keratin materials, in particular the lips, comprising, in a physiologically acceptable medium, at least:
- un ou plusieurs alcane(s) linéaire(s) ou ramifié(s) en C8-C19, - one or more linear or branched C8-C19 alkane(s),
- une ou plusieurs huile(s) siliconée(s) phénylée(s), dont l’indice de réfraction à 25° C est supérieur à 1 ,45, de préférence supérieur ou égal à 1 ,47, - one or more phenyl silicone oil(s), whose refractive index at 25° C is greater than 1.45, preferably greater than or equal to 1.47,
- And optionally additionally at least one pigment.
By “keratinous materials” is meant in particular the skin and/or the lips, the hair, the eyelashes and the nails. According to a particular mode, the composition of the invention is applied to the lips.
The invention also relates to a cosmetic process for caring for and/or making up keratin materials, in particular the lips, comprising the application, to said keratin materials, in particular the lips, of a composition according to the invention.
DESCRIPTION DETAILLEE DE L'INVENTION DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Thus, a first aspect of the invention is therefore a homogeneous cosmetic composition for caring for and/or making up keratin materials, in particular the lips, comprising, in a physiologically acceptable medium, at least:
- un ou plusieurs alcane(s) linéaire(s) ou ramifié(s) en C8-C19, - one or more linear or branched C8-C19 alkane(s),
- une ou plusieurs huile(s) siliconée(s) phénylée(s), dont l’indice de réfraction à 25° C est supérieur à 1 ,45, de préférence supérieur ou égal à 1 ,47, - one or more phenyl silicone oil(s), whose refractive index at 25° C is greater than 1.45, preferably greater than or equal to 1.47,
- And optionally additionally at least one pigment.
By 'homogeneous', it is meant that the composition of the invention has a visually homogeneous appearance, that is to say that each of the phases cannot be individualized with the naked eye in the composition which thus seems only consist of a single phase.
According to a particular embodiment, the oily phase in which the silicone-polyurethane polymer is dissolved comprises total contents of alkane oil(s) and respectively of phenyl silicone oil(s), such as the solution oily after mixing and incorporation of the silicone-polyurethane polymer either translucent or transparent. We will speak of 'mixture of alkanes/phenylated silicone oils/silicone-polyurethane polymer capable of forming a translucent or transparent oily solution or 'translucent or translucent ternary mixture'.
By 'translucent or transparent oily solution' or 'translucent or transparent ternary mixture', it is meant that the solution or mixture is not cloudy or opaque, and allows light to pass through and shows the objects behind it sharply.
According to a particular embodiment, the mixture comprises isododecane (branched alkane), a trimethyl pentaphenyl trisiloxane (and optionally a dipenylsiloxy phenyl trimethicone) and a silicone-polyurethane polymer in defined proportions for obtaining a translucent oily solution or transparent, leading to the obtaining of a homogeneous composition after addition of the other ingredients of the composition.
A person skilled in the art expert in the cosmetics field will thus define the optimal contents of each of the compounds of the ternary mixture according to his knowledge of the characteristics specific to each compound (in particular solubility, molecular weight) and its behavior in a binary alkane/phenyl silicone oil mixture then ternary alkane/phenyl silicone oil/polymer, to obtain a translucent or transparent oily solution.
According to a particular and preferred embodiment, the composition of the invention is an anhydrous composition.
The term “anhydrous” means in particular that the water is preferably not added to the compositions but may be present in trace form in the various compounds used in the compositions. In particular, the composition according to the invention comprises less than 4% by weight of water, preferably less than 3%, preferably less than 2%, more preferably less than 1%, even more preferably less than 0.5% by weight of water, relative to the total weight of said composition, or even is completely free of water.
According to a particular and preferred mode, the composition of the invention is a liquid and anhydrous composition.
The composition of the invention is a brilliant composition.
In particular, the gloss value of a deposit of a cosmetic composition is in particular measured using a gloss meter and expressed in gloss units (BU). Reference will be made indiscriminately to the gloss value of the composition or to the gloss value of the deposit on the skin or the lips. The gloss value of a composition can in particular be measured according to the following protocol. To measure the gloss of a product to be tested, a light ray of constant intensity is directed at a determined angle onto the surface to be tested, then the quantity of light reflected at the same angle is measured. This specular reflection is measured using a glossmeter. Depending on the gloss level, different reflection angles are used.
The gloss measurement is based on the amount of light reflected off a surface relative to a polished glass reference standard; it is expressed in Brilliant Units (BU).
The measurement is normalized with respect to an internal standard and reduced to a value out of 100: For this standard standard, the measurement value is fixed at 100 gloss units (calibration).
The closer the measured value is to 100, the brighter the sample.
The amount of light reflected on the surface depends on the angle of incidence and the properties of the surface itself.
The gloss level is divided into three categories: matte (gloss value below 10UB), semi-gloss (gloss value between 10 and 70UB) or high gloss (gloss value above 70UB). To determine the appropriate measurement angle, a glossmeter with an angle of incidence of 60° is used.
Selon un mode préféré de réalisation, le polymère de silicone-polyuréthane selon l'invention comprend des unités récurrentes dérivées du polyorganosiloxane fonctionnalisé par des groupements hydroxyle et du diisocyanate sous la forme d'un copolymère alterné AB, où l'unité A a la structure de formule II: dans laquelle R, L et n sont définis comme précédemment en relation avec la formule I, la, Ib et le, et où l'unité B a la structure de formule III: According to a preferred embodiment, the silicone-polyurethane polymer according to the invention comprises recurring units derived from the polyorganosiloxane functionalized with hydroxyl groups and from the diisocyanate in the form of an alternating copolymer AB, where the unit A has the structure of formula II: wherein R, L and n are defined as above in relation to formula I, la, Ib and le, and wherein unit B has the structure of formula III:

The polymer may also include branching or grafting points in the polyorganosiloxane wherein one or more R groups in formula I or II is a group IV such that:

EXEMPLES EXAMPLES
Solubility tests are carried out for various mixtures comprising the polyurethane silicone polymer, a volatile hydrocarbon oil and at least one phenyl silicone oil. The ratios for which a clear and transparent solution is obtained are those which are suitable for the invention. In this case, the compounds of the mixture form a single and unique phase. If the ratios of the compounds in the mixture do not make it possible to obtain a clear oil phase, an opacity of the mixture is observed, meaning that the compounds are immiscible at the ratios tested.
For these tests, SILMER UR1550 is used, which comprises the silicone polyurethane polymer (I NCI= Bis-Hydroxypropyl Dimethicone/SMDI Copolymer) dispersed in isododecane, at 45% by dry weight of polymer.
Depending on the ratio tested, an additional quantity of the ingredient is added.
1 - Mélanges (avec 1 huile siliconée phénylée de viscosité > 150mPa.s à 25°C) : Bis-Hydroxypropyl Dimethicone/SMDI Copolymer / Isododécane / Trimethyl Pentaphenyl Trisiloxane (DOW CORNING PH-1555) 1 - Mixtures (with 1 phenyl silicone oil with viscosity > 150mPa.s at 25°C): Bis-Hydroxypropyl Dimethicone/SMDI Copolymer / Isododecane / Trimethyl Pentaphenyl Trisiloxane (DOW CORNING PH-1555)
The blends below include 40% by weight of SILMER UR-1550, i.e. 18% by dry weight of polyurethane silicone polymer and 22% by weight of isododecane. The 18% of polyurethane silicone polymer is dispersed in 82% of a mixture of oils comprising an isododecane and a phenyl silicone oil with a viscosity of 160-190mPa.s at 25°C.
The results are included in Table 2 below:
[Table 2] [Table 2]
Observation de l’aspect du mélange : Observation of the appearance of the mixture:
Opaque= non miscible Opaque= immiscible
Limpide= miscible = OK pour l’invention Clear = miscible = OK for the invention
The results show that to obtain a clear mixture with 18% by weight of silicone polyurethane polymer, it is necessary, in the case of a phenyl silicone oil with a viscosity >100mPa.S at 25°C, a mixture of oils comprising 5 to 35% of phenyl silicone oil with a viscosity >150 mPa.s and 45 to 75% of C8-C19 alkanes, relative to the total weight of the mixture. In this case, the content of C8-C19 alkanes will be at least 1.5x greater than the said content of phenyl silicone oil with a viscosity >150 mPa.S at 25°C. We will speak more generally (by rounding up 18% to 20% silicone polyurethane polymer) of an 80 (oil)/20 silicone polyurethane polymer mixture, with a weight ratio of 5-35% phenyl silicone oil(s) ( s) of viscosity >100mPa.s/ 45-75% of C8-C19 alkanes/ 20% of silicone polyurethane polymer, i.e. a weight ratio of 1/3 phenyl silicone oil(s) of viscosity >100mPa.s and 2/3 of C8-C19 alkanes relative to the total weight of the oils in the mixture.
2 - Mélanges (avec 2 huiles siliconées phénylées) : 2 - Mixtures (with 2 phenyl silicone oils):
Bis-Hydroxypropyl Dimethicone/SMDI Copolymer / Isododécane / Trimethyl Pentaphenyl Trisiloxane (DOW CORNING PH-1555) /Diphenylsiloxyphenyltrimethicone (KF-56A) Les résultats sont inclus dans le tableau 3 ci-dessous [Table 3] Bis-Hydroxypropyl Dimethicone/SMDI Copolymer/Isododecane/Trimethyl Pentaphenyl Trisiloxane (DOW CORNING PH-1555)/Diphenylsiloxyphenyltrimethicone (KF-56A) Results are included in Table 3 below [Table 3]
Observation de l’aspect du mélange : Observation of the appearance of the mixture:
Opaque^ non miscible Limpide= miscible = OK pour l’invention Opaque^ immiscible Clear= miscible = OK for the invention
Les résultats montrent que pour obtenir un mélange limpide avec 18% en poids de polymère silicone polyuréthane, il faut, dans le cas d’une combinaison d’huile siliconée phénylée de viscosité >100mPa.s et d’huile siliconée phénylée de viscosité < 50mPa.s, un mélange d’huiles comprenant 60% d’huile(s) siliconée(s) phénylée(s) et 20% d’alcanes enThe results show that to obtain a clear mixture with 18% by weight of silicone polyurethane polymer, it is necessary, in the case of a combination of phenyl silicone oil with a viscosity >100mPa.s and phenyl silicone oil with a viscosity < 50mPa.s .s, a mixture of oils comprising 60% phenyl silicone oil(s) and 20% alkanes in
C8-C19, relative to the total weight of the mixture. In such a mixture, the content of low-viscosity phenyl silicone oil is higher than the content of high-viscosity phenyl silicone oil and the content of C8-C19 alkanes remains greater than or equal to the content of high-viscosity phenyl silicone oil. We will speak more generally (by rounding up 18% to 20% silicone polyurethane polymer) of an 80 (oil)/20 silicone polyurethane polymer mixture, with a weight ratio of 60% phenyl silicone oil(s)/20 % C8-C19 alkanes/ 20% polyurethane silicone polymer. The combination of a low viscosity phenyl silicone oil with a high viscosity phenyl silicone oil thus makes it possible to incorporate into the mixture oils a higher total content of phenyl silicone oils than in the previous example, for an even better shine result.
These results show that the low solubility of the polyurethane silicone polymer in the presence of phenyl silicone oil requires the addition of an excess of hydrocarbon oil (isododecane in the present examples) to obtain a clear solution.
Among the phenyl silicone oils tested, the presence of KF-56A in the mixture makes it possible to increase the total content of phenyl silicone oils and therefore the gloss result of the film.
