A developing cartridge (1) comprising: a casing (10) configured to accommodate developer therein, the casing (10) extending in the first direction; a coupling (41) rotatable about a first axis (83) extending in the first direction, the coupling (41) being positioned at one side of the casing (10) in the first direction; a detection gear (52) rotatable about a second axis (85) extending in the first direction, the detection gear (52) being positioned at another side of the casing (10) in the first direction; a storage medium (61) including an electric contact surface (611), the electric contact surface (611) being positioned at the one side of the casing (10) in the first direction.
