Abstract
Sont divulgués des dispositifs, des systèmes et des méthodes qui aident à la pose de cathéters ou d'autres dispositifs médicaux à des emplacements à l'intérieur du corps d'un patient. Le dispositif comprend un cathéter transporteur présentant une extrémité proximale et une extrémité distale, au moins un premier ballonnet situé adjacent à l'extrémité distale, et au moins un deuxième ballonnet situé entre le premier ballonnet et l'extrémité proximale du cathéter transporteur. Le premier ballonnet est conçu pour maintenir en place un dispositif prothétique. Selon un autre mode de réalisation, le cathéter transporteur comporte un troisième ballonnet, un ballonnet d'orientation, sensiblement au niveau de la pointe de l'extrémité distale du cathéter transporteur.
