Abstract

The invention relates to a system whereby the flushing fluid is transferred into the ceramic sanitary ware bowl (11) in such a way that it will perform a helical rotational movement. More particularly, the invention relates to a system whereby the fluid is conveyed from the fluid source into the ceramic sanitary ware (1) and the fluid is transferred into the ceramic sanitary ware bowl (11) by guiding the same in a way to perform a helical movement by means of a single apparatus.

Description

A SYSTEM FOR PERFORMING THE FLUSHING PROCESS BY PROVIDING A HELICAL MOVEMENT TO THE FLUSHING FLUID
Subject of the Invention
The invention relates to a system whereby the flushing fluid is transferred into the ceramic sanitary ware bowl in such a way that it will perform a helical rotational movement.
State of the Art
Today, the ceramic sanitary ware are frequently preferred in the areas like bathroom, toilet room and kitchen. It is required to clean the ceramic sanitary ware after the use and the flushing systems are employed for this purpose. According to the state of the art, the water to be used for cleaning is commonly stored in a flush tank and the flow of said stored water into the ceramic sanitary ware takes place upon the user activating the flushing system, thereby enabling the ceramic sanitary ware to be cleaned. For an effective cleaning, it is required to distribute said water into the bowl of the ceramic sanitary ware. The process of distribution of water is most of the time achieved with the aid of channels. The channels extend along the circumference of the ceramic sanitary ware and enable the water to be distributed into the bowl of the ceramic sanitary ware. In this practice, the water colliding inside the channel and inside the inner bowl causes an undesirable noise. Moreover, the access to the vicinity of the channel is difficult in the ceramic sanitary ware including channel and thus it is not possible to properly clean every point of the ceramic sanitary ware, which in turn leads to certain problems of hygiene.
Rimless ceramic sanitary ware were developed in order to preclude the hygiene problems caused by the ceramic sanitary ware with channel. Since the rimless ceramic sanitary ware do not include any channel, they may be easily cleaned and the likely hygiene problems may thus be prevented. It is necessary also in the rimless ceramic sanitaryware to distribute the flushing water into the ceramic sanitary ware in some way. Various apparatus or guide structures contained in the ceramic sanitaryware are utilized forthis purpose and it isthus made possible to distribute the water into the ceramic sanitary ware. Such apparatus or structures mainly guide the water coming from the flush tank in two or more directions and enable it to be distributed to the inner bowl of the ceramic sanitary ware. The water that is divided in two or more directions collide at certain points inside the ceramic sanitary ware and the splash and undesirable noise are generated as a result of collision.
With the invention, a system is developed where no channel is included and the likely hygiene problems are thus precluded, the transport of the flushing fluid coming from the fluid source into the ceramic sanitary ware and the guidance of the same such that it performs a helical movement are provided by a single carrying and guiding apparatus and therefore there is no need to form on the ceramic sanitary ware any guide or any separate channel conveying fluid to the guide, the noise generated by the collision of the fluids is minimized, and the flushing performance is maximized owing to the ability to guide and accelerate the water. of the Invention
An object of the invention is to develop a system whereby the flushing process for the bowl of the ceramic sanitary ware is achieved with a fluid performing a helical movement inside the ceramic sanitary ware.
Another object of the invention is to develop a system whereby the flushing fluid is enabled to form a vortex inside the ceramic sanitary ware and thus it is ensured that the flushing fluid reaches all the points of the bowl of the ceramic sanitary ware.
Another object of the invention is to develop a system whereby the flushing fluid is conveyed in a single direction into the ceramic sanitary ware, thereby preventing the splashes and the undesirable noise resulting from the collision of the flushing fluid with another fluid flowing in the opposite direction within the ceramic sanitary ware.
Another object of the invention is to develop a system whereby the fluid coming from the fluid source is conveyed into the ceramic sanitary ware without contacting said ceramic sanitary ware and the fluid being conveyed is guided in a way to perform a helical movement by means of a single apparatus.
Another object of the invention is to develop a system whereby the fluid coming from the fluid source is distributed into the bowl of the ceramic sanitary ware by more than one hole/tube having different diameters, thereby reducing the noise resulting from the collision of the fluids, enabling the fluid to reach every point of the bowl of the ceramic sanitary ware and achieving an effective flushing.

Detailed Description of the Invention
The invention relates to a system whereby the flushing fluid is transferred into the ceramic sanitary ware bowl (11) in such a way that it will perform a helical rotational movement. More particularly, the invention relates to a system whereby the fluid is conveyed from the fluid source into the ceramic sanitary ware (1) and the fluid is transferred into the ceramic sanitary ware bowl (11) by guiding the same in a way to perform a helical movement by means of a single apparatus. The system according to the invention comprises in its most basic form at least one carrying and guiding apparatus (2) that enables the fluid coming from the fluid source to be conveyed and that enables the fluid being conveyed to be transferred into the bowl of the product intended to be flushed in a way to perform a helical rotational movement, and at least one ceramic sanitary ware (1) that has a fluid path (13) enabling the fluid being carried and guided by the carrying and guiding apparatus (2) to advance with continued helical movement. In a preferred embodiment of said invention, the carrying and guiding apparatus (2), comprising the component that enables the fluid coming from the fluid source to be conveyed to the ceramic sanitary ware bowl (11) and the component that enables the fluid to be guided in a way to perform a helical rotational movement inside the ceramic sanitary ware bowl (11), has a monolithic structure.
The carrying and guiding apparatus (2) comprises at least one fluid source connection section (22) where the fluid in the fluid source enters said carrying and guiding apparatus (2) and at least one fluid outlet section (23) where the fluid entering said carrying and guiding apparatus (2) is conveyed to the ceramic sanitary ware bowl (11). The carrying and guiding apparatus (2) comprises at least one carrying and guiding structure (21), which enables the fluid entering said carrying and guiding apparatus (2) via fluid source connection section (22) to be conveyed up to the fluid outlet section (23) and to be guided from the fluid outlet section (23) into the ceramic sanitary ware bowl (11) in a way to perform a helical rotational movement. Said carrying and guiding structure (21) extends from the fluid source connection section (22) to the fluid outlet section (23) of the carrying and guiding apparatus (2).
In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the carrying and guiding structure (21) is in the form of holes formed within the carrying and guiding apparatus (2). Said holes start from the fluid source connection section (22) and extend to the fluid outlet section (23), thereby enabling the fluid to be conveyed along the carrying and guiding apparatus (2).
In another preferred embodiment of the invention, the carrying and guiding structures (21) are in the form of tubes extending along the carrying and guiding apparatus (2). In said embodiment, the tubes are positioned into at least one carrying and guiding structure box (211).
In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the carrying and guiding apparatus (2) comprises more than one carrying and guiding structure (21). Again, in a preferred embodiment of the invention, the carrying and guiding apparatus (2) comprises 3-6 carrying and guiding structures (21). In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the geometry, number and relative positions of carrying and guiding structures (21) may be changed depending on the preferences and needs of the manufacturer and/or user, thus the flow characteristics of the flushing fluid may be altered.
Said carrying and guiding structures (21) have a circular form and/or cornered form, and while said carrying and guiding structures (21) may have the same diameters/cross-sectional areas, they are preferably of different diameters/cross-sectional areas. More specifically, the carrying and guiding structures (21) contained in a carrying and guiding apparatus (2) may have same as well as different diameters/cross-sectional areas.
In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the carrying and guiding apparatus (2) and/or the carrying and guiding structures (21) has/have a curved shape extending in the form of an arc. Owing to this form, the fluid entering the carrying and guiding apparatus (2) is directly transferred to the ceramic sanitary ware bowl (11) without encountering any resistance and without any reduction in its velocity.
In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the system comprises a single carrying and guiding apparatus (2) and thus the flushing fluid is transferred in a single direction into the ceramic sanitary ware bowl (11). In other words, the fluid entry into the ceramic sanitary ware bowl (11) takes place from a single zone and in a single direction, thereby preventing the splash and noise resulting from the collusion of the fluids.
Although the flushing fluid is guided by the carrying and guiding apparatus (2) in such a way that it performs a helical movement inside the ceramic sanitary ware bowl (11), it is preferable that the ceramic sanitary ware (1) also has a structure to maintain such movement so that the fluid is able to continue with its helical movement along the ceramic sanitary ware (1), thus is able to access all points of the ceramic sanitary ware bowl (11) and achieve an effective flushing process. For this reason, the ceramic sanitary ware bowl (11) has an inclined helical structure such that the fluid moves around the entire bowl and is guided towards the bottom of the ceramic sanitary ware (1). More specifically, the ceramic sanitary ware (1) has at least one fluid path (13), which enables the fluid exiting the fluid outlet section (23) of the carrying and guiding apparatus (2) to advance in such a way that said fluid performs rotation via a helical movement on the ceramic sanitary ware bowl (11) to gradually approach the fluid within the elbowed structure (3) and to eventually get mixed into the fluid within the elbowed structure (3). Said fluid path (13) is a helical flow path that starts at the fluid outlet section (23) of the carrying and guiding apparatus (2) and extends through the elbowed structure (3) by turning helically.
In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the fluid path (13) starts at the back surface (16) of the ceramic sanitary ware (1), advances by rotating along the inner bowl so that it passes from the right side surface (14) to the left side surface (15), and repeats this rotating movement. In other words, the fluid path (13) extends towards the elbowed structure (3) by performing a clockwise rotational movement. In another preferred embodiment of the invention, the fluid path (13) starts at the back surface (16) of the ceramic sanitary ware (1), advances by rotating along the inner bowl so that it passes from the left side surface (15) to the right side surface (14), and repeats this rotating movement. In other words, the fluid path (13) extends towards the elbowed structure (3) by performing a counterclockwise rotational movement. In a preferred embodiment of the invention, it is desirable that the ends of the carrying and guiding structures (21) opening into the ceramic sanitary ware bowl (11) are desired to be as close to the ceramic sanitary ware bowl (11) as possible. Accordingly, the carrying and guiding apparatus (2) is positioned in the ceramic sanitary ware bowl (11) such that the ends of the carrying and guiding structures (21) opening into the ceramic sanitary ware bowl (11) are tangential to the ceramic sanitary ware bowl (11). In this way, while the fluid is being transferred from the carrying and guiding apparatus (2) into the ceramic sanitary ware bowl (11), the generation of noise and/or splash due to collision is prevented and the fluid is transferred into the ceramic sanitary ware bowl (11) without encountering any opposing force and hence, without any reduction in its velocity.
It is desirable that the fluid being conveyed by the carrying and guiding structure (21) into the ceramic sanitary ware bowl (11) advances along the fluid path (13) in the ceramic sanitary ware bowl (11). For this reason, in a preferred embodiment of the invention, the carrying and guiding apparatus (2) is positioned such that the fluid outlet section (23) thereof and/or the end of the carrying and guiding structure (21) opening into the ceramic sanitary ware bowl (11) is/are disposed tangential to the wall of the ceramic sanitary ware bowl (11) and is/are disposed at the starting point of the fluid path (13). In this manner, it is ensured that the flushing fluid is transferred directly to the fluid path (13) without encountering any obstacle and follows the fluid path (13) to advance towards the elbowed structure (3) by a helical rotational movement.
In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the ceramic sanitary ware (1) comprises at least one set (4), which enables the fluid exiting the fluid outlet section (23) and advancing along the fluid path (13) to be guided to the elbowed structure (3). Said set (4) is preferably located on the surface opposite the back surface (16), on the front surface of the ceramic sanitary ware bowl (11).
In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the carrying and guiding apparatus (2) is a carrying and guiding apparatus (2) independent from the ceramic sanitary ware (1), capable of being attached to and detached from the ceramic sanitary ware (1).
In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the ceramic sanitary ware (1) has at least one carrying and guiding apparatus housing (12) where the carrying and guiding apparatus (2) may be positioned. The carrying and guiding apparatus (2) is positioned in the carrying and guiding apparatus housing (12) and the fluid source connection is made directly to the carrying and guiding apparatus (2), more particularly, to the fluid source connection section (22). In this way, the flushing fluid is conveyed to the ceramic sanitary ware bowl (11) without any connection between the fluid source and the ceramic sanitary ware (1). As a result, the necessity to form a fluid channel on the ceramic sanitary ware (1) is eliminated, the manufacture of the ceramic sanitary ware (1) is thus facilitated, and the costs are reduced. In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the fluid path (13) is not an enclosed channel; it is a fluid path (13) formed with geometric recesses and protrusions on the surface of the ceramic sanitary ware bowl (11).
In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the carrying and guiding apparatus (2) and/or the carrying and guiding structure (21) and/or the carrying and guiding structure box (211) is/are manufactured from a plastic material. In a preferred embodiment of the invention, said ceramic sanitary ware (1) is a toilet bowl, preferably a rimless toilet bowl.

Claims

1. A flushing system whereby the flushing fluid is transferred into the ceramic sanitary ware bowl (11) in such a way that the flushing fluid will perform a helical rotational movement characterized in that the flushing system comprises
• at least one carrying and guiding apparatus (2) that enables the fluid coming from the fluid source to be conveyed and that enables the fluid being conveyed to be transferred into the bowl of the product intended to be flushed in a way to perform a helical rotational movement, and
• at least one ceramic sanitary ware (1) that has a fluid path (13) enabling the fluid being carried and guided by the carrying and guiding apparatus (2) to advance with continued helical movement.
2. A flushing system according to Claim 1 characterized in that the carrying and guiding apparatus (2) comprises at least one fluid source connection section (22) where the fluid in the fluid source enters said carrying and guiding apparatus (2).
3. A flushing system according to Claim 1 characterized in that the carrying and guiding apparatus (2) comprises at least one fluid outlet section (23) where the fluid entering said carrying and guiding apparatus (2) is conveyed to the ceramic sanitary ware bowl (11).
4. A flushing system according to Claim 1 characterized in that the carrying and guiding apparatus (2) comprises at least one carrying and guiding structure (21), which enables the fluid entering said carrying and guiding apparatus (2) to be transferred into the ceramic sanitary ware bowl (11).

A flushing system according to any one of Claims 2-4 characterized in that the carrying and guiding structure (21) is a carrying and guiding structure (21), which enables the fluid entering via the fluid source connection section (22) of the carrying and guiding apparatus (2) to be transferred from the fluid outlet section (23) of said carrying and guiding apparatus (2) into the ceramic sanitary ware bowl (11).

19. A flushing system according to any one of Claims 4-18 characterized in that the carrying and guiding structures (21) have a curved shape extending in the form of an arc enabling the flushing fluid to be transferred to the ceramic sanitary ware bowl (11) without encountering any resistance.

A flushing system according to Claim 1 characterized in that the fluid path (13) is a fluid path (13), which starts at the back surface (16) of the ceramic sanitary ware (1), advances by rotating along the inner bowl so that it passes from the left side surface (15) to the right side surface (14), and repeats this rotating movement.
25. A flushing system according to Claim 1 characterized in that the carrying and guiding apparatus (2) is positioned in the ceramic sanitary ware bowl (11) such that the ends of the carrying and guiding structures (21) opening into the ceramic sanitary ware bowl (11) are tangential to the ceramic sanitary ware bowl (11).
26. A flushing system according to Claim 1 characterized in that the carrying and guiding apparatus (2) is positioned such that the fluid outlet section (23) of said carrying and guiding apparatus (2) is disposed tangential to the wall of the ceramic sanitary ware bowl (11).
27. A flushing system according to Claim 25 or 26 characterized in that the carrying and guiding apparatus (2) is positioned such that the fluid outlet section (23) of said carrying and guiding apparatus (2) and/or the end of the carrying and guiding structure (21) opening into the ceramic sanitary ware bowl (11) is/are disposed tangential to the wall of the ceramic sanitary ware bowl (11) and is/are disposed at the starting point of the fluid path (13).
28. A flushing system according to Claim 1 characterized in that the ceramic sanitary ware (1) comprises at least one set (4), which enables the fluid advancing along the fluid path (13) to be guided to the elbowed structure (3).
29. A flushing system according to Claim 28 characterized in that the set (4) is preferably located on the surface opposite the back surface (16) of the ceramic sanitary ware (1), on the front surface of said ceramic sanitary ware (1).

30. A flushing system according to Claim 1 characterized in that the carrying and guiding apparatus (2) is a carrying and guiding apparatus (2) independent from the ceramic sanitary ware (1), capable of being attached to and detached from the ceramic sanitary ware (1).
31. A flushing system according to Claim 1 or 30 characterized in that the ceramic sanitary ware (1) has at least one carrying and guiding apparatus housing (12) where the carrying and guiding apparatus (2) may be positioned.
32. A flushing system according to Claim 1 characterized in that the fluid coming from the fluid source is conveyed directly to the carrying and guiding apparatus (2) without any connection between the fluid source and the ceramic sanitary ware (1).
33. A flushing system according to Claim 1 characterized in that the fluid path (13) is not an enclosed channel but is a fluid path (13) formed with geometric recesses and protrusions on the surface of the ceramic sanitary ware bowl (11).
34. A flushing system according to Claim 1 characterized in that the carrying and guiding apparatus (2) is manufactured from a plastic material.
35. A flushing system according to Claim 4 characterized in that the carrying and guiding structure (21) is manufactured from a plastic material.
36. A flushing system according to Claim 13 characterized in that the carrying and guiding structure box (211) is manufactured from a plastic material.
37. A flushing system according to any one of the preceding claims characterized in that the ceramic sanitary ware (1) is a toilet bowl.
38. A flushing system according to Claim 37 characterized in that the toilet bowl is a rimless toilet bowl.
39. A flushing system according to Claim 1 characterized in that the carrying and guiding apparatus (2), comprising the component that enables the fluid coming from the fluid source to be conveyed to the ceramic sanitary ware bowl (11) and the component that enables the fluid to be guided in a way to perform a helical rotational movement inside the ceramic sanitary ware bowl (11), has a monolithic structure.
