Such steps allow the cover body to rest thereon, directly or by interposing support elements therebetween, so that there are no further objects inside the collection channel.
  • steps present in the known drains do not allow to overcome the problems regarding the reduced hydraulic capacity of the collection channel; in fact, although eliminating the risk of blocking residues, the steps are positioned inside the channel similarly to the support elements, so they also reduce the hydraulic section of the channel. Moreover, since such steps are continuous and positioned along most of the channel itself, the hydraulic section and the collection capacity are greatly reduced.
