Abstract

Description

When folding boxes are lifted and/or transported if the contents of the box are too heavy, the boxes are often torn in the area of their handle holes, so that the box can no longer be used properly.

In the DE 10 2007 011 147 A1 describes a load-carrying device in the form of elongated belts that are placed under a load to be carried, eg a piece of furniture, and have at least one loop-shaped forearm insertion opening at their free ends.

In the U.S. 2020/0290175 A1 describes a load-carrying device in the form of an elongate belt which can be placed under a load to be carried, eg a piece of furniture, and has two loop-shaped handles for lifting and transporting the load.

The object of the invention is to create a device according to the preamble of patent claim 1 .

The object of the invention is to create a folding box made of cardboard with handle holes and with an associated device to prevent the folding box from tearing in the area of the handle holes if the contents of the box are too heavy.

The features of the characterizing part of patent claim 1 serve to solve this problem.

Preferred embodiments of the invention are described in claims 2 and 3.

The invention is described below with reference to the drawings:

According to figure 1 a carrying strap is attached to a folding box 10 shown schematically according to the invention, which strap consists of a central strap section 1a and two adjoining lateral strap sections 1b.

A carrying strap 1 made of tear-resistant material, in particular plastic material, has a middle strap section 1a and two lateral strap sections 1b adjoining the middle strap section 1a. Desired buckling points 2 are provided between the central strap section 1a and the lateral strap sections 1b.

Grip hole portions 3, which are provided with grip holes 4 for carrying tape, connect to the ends of the lateral tape portions 1b. Three wing-like positioning sections 5 preferably adjoin the grip hole sections 3 .

The middle band section 1a has a length corresponding to the length of the folding box 10.

The lateral band sections 1b each have a length that corresponds to the distance between the bottom of the folding box 10 and the handle holes of the folding box 10 .

When using the object of the invention, the filled folding box 10 is placed on the central band section 1a, and the two lateral band sections 1b are folded up against the end faces of the folding box 10.

Then the handle hole sections 3 and the wing-like positioning sections are inserted through the handle holes of the folding box 10 into the interior of the folding box, so that the filled folding box can be lifted using the strap handle holes 4 .

When dimensioning the carrying strap 1, care must be taken to ensure that when the positioning sections 5 and the handle hole sections 3 are inserted into the handle holes of the folding box, the carrying strap handle holes 4 overlap.

The material of the carrier tape must be flexible enough to be able to insert the positioning sections 5 and the handle hole section 3 through the handle holes 4 of the folding box 10 . The carrier tape 1 also increases the load-bearing capacity of the bottom of the folding box 10.
