Melt spinning is often regarded as the most economical process of spinning, since no solvent needs to be recovered or evaporated, as is by contrast the case with solution spinning. Further, the spinning rate with melt spinning is generally fairly high, which is advantageous in terms of overall productivity and manufacturing efficiency.

Claims (12)

  1. Article de génération d'aérosol (10, 100, 310) comprenant :
    un substrat de génération d'aérosol (12, 114, 312) ;
    un filtre (18, 122, 314) en alignement axial avec le substrat de génération d'aérosol (12, 114, 312), le filtre (18, 122, 314) comprenant au moins un segment de filtre (126, 318) d'une matière de filtration formée d'une pluralité de fibres comprenant un composé polyhydroxyalcanoate, dans lequel les fibres ont un denier par filament (dpf) d'entre 5,0 et 12,0 ; dans lequel l'au moins un segment de filtre (126, 318) comprend au moins 20 pour cent en poids de composé polyhydroxyalcanoate et dans lequel la résistance au tirage (RTD) de l'au moins un segment de filtre (126, 318) est entre 10 millimètres H2O et 25 millimètres H2O.
  2. Article de génération d'aérosol (10, 100, 310) selon la revendication 1, dans lequel la pluralité de fibres de composé polyhydroxyalcanoate ont une forme en coupe transversale ronde et fournissent une aire de surface externe totale au sein du segment de filtre (126, 318) d'entre 0,08 mètre carré par gramme et 0,12 mètre carré par gramme.

  5. Article de génération d'aérosol (10, 100, 310) selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, dans lequel la matière de filtration comprend en outre une pluralité de fibres d'au moins un polymère biodégradable supplémentaire.
  6. Article de génération d'aérosol (10, 100, 310) selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, dans lequel le segment de filtre comprenant la pluralité de fibres comprenant le composé polyhydroxyalcanoate comprend en outre au moins 5 pour cent en poids de polyéthylène glycol.
  7. Article de génération d'aérosol (10, 100, 310) selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, dans lequel le segment de filtre (126, 318) comprenant la pluralité de fibres comprenant le composé polyhydroxyalcanoate a une dureté radiale moyenne d'au moins 80 pour cent.
  8. Article de génération d'aérosol (10, 100, 310) selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, dans lequel le segment de filtre (126, 318) comprenant la pluralité de fibres comprenant le composé polyhydroxyalcanoate est entouré par une enveloppe (20) ayant un grammage d'au moins 100 grammes par mètre carré (g/m2).
  9. Article de génération d'aérosol (10, 100, 310) selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, dans lequel le segment de filtre (126, 318) comprenant la pluralité de fibres comprenant le composé polyhydroxyalcanoate est sous la forme d'un élément tubulaire creux (14).
  10. Article de génération d'aérosol (10, 100, 310) selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, dans lequel le substrat de génération d'aérosol a une longueur d'entre 5 millimètres et 15 millimètres.
  11. Article de génération d'aérosol (10, 100, 310) selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, dans lequel le segment de filtre comprend en outre une capsule au sein de la pluralité de fibres comprenant le composé polyhydroxyalcanoate.
  12. Filtre pour un article de génération d'aérosol (10, 100, 310), le filtre comprenant au moins un segment de filtre d'une matière de filtration comprenant une pluralité de fibres comprenant un composé polyhydroxyalcanoate, dans lequel les fibres ont un denier par filament (dpf) d'entre 5,0 deniers et 12,0 deniers, dans lequel l'au moins un segment de filtre comprend au moins 20 pour cent en poids de composé polyhydroxyalcanoate et dans lequel la résistance au tirage (RTD) de l'au moins un segment de filtre est entre 10 millimètres H2O et 25 millimètres H2O.
