Definitions
- the present invention relates to a package for items and products suitable for being readily dispensed and/or made usable through openings or similar present on the body of the same package, in particular suitable for being hung or to be suspended with a part thereof to dispense and/or make usable its contents.
- the field of application of the invention is the generic field of items and products suitable for being readily dispensed and/or made usable through openings or similar present on the body of a package containing them; it is particularly designed for the so-called "tissue" sector, that is paper for hygienic uses that is substantially of a disposable type such as, for example, napkins, handkerchiefs, toilet paper and similar.
- the present invention aims to solve the aforementioned drawbacks of the known art and to indicate a package for items and products suitable to be readily dispensed and/or made usable through openings or similar present on the body of the same package, which is resistant, stable and well anchored once hooked and/or suspended, thus reliable in dispensing its contents.
- One purpose of the invention is to ensure that the package, once suspended and/or attached to appropriate supports, does not break or tear in the openings where the supports interact at the first stress of weight or of any momentary overload acting on the package. Similarly, one aim is for the pack to be able to guarantee a certain reliability and resistance over time to these actions when suspended.
- Another aim is to create a pack that is simple and economical to set up and manufacture.
- the object of the present utility model is a package for items and products suitable for being readily dispensed and/or made usable through openings or similar on a body of said package, according to the features of the appended claims.
- the invention relates to a package for items and products suitable for being readily dispensed and/or made usable through openings or similar present on a body of the same package, the package comprising a main body ending in a plurality of closing flaps.
- a peculiarity of the invention is that on at least one pair of aforementioned closing flaps there is present at least one through-hole suitable to be engaged by hooks and/or suspension elements for certain positioning of the same package, the package for items and products comprising means for gripping the closing flaps associated with at least part of a surrounding of the through-hole.
- the package is resistant due to the presence of the gripping means precisely at the points of the hole where it is most stressed by its weight, i.e. in a surrounding of the same.
- One advantage is that it is easy, practical, and economical to reinforce each hole.
- Another advantage is to have a lightweight package with great flexibility of use, as it can be attached and suspended in a variety of ways and positions.
- figure 10 illustrates in its entirety a first preferred embodiment of a package for items and products suitable for being readily dispensed and/or made usable through openings or similar present on a body of the same package.
- the package for items and products 10 comprises a body 20 provided with an opening 22, transverse to the body 20, suitable for dispensing items and products, for example disposable type handkerchiefs 12, and arranged in such a way as to make them continuously accessible to a user from the outside, for example with the handkerchiefs 12 arranged in a known manner such that, when a user removes one, a flap of a subsequent handkerchief remains outside the opening 22 and therefore accessible.
- a pair of closure flaps 241 and 242 obtained by processing through a known process, superimposed in a substantially horizontal position to form the die-cutting surface 26 provided with at least one through hole 30 suitable to engage with hooks and/or suspension elements for a certain and stable positioning of the same package 10, so that a user can reach its content without touching its body 20.
- the package for items and products 10 is advantageously provided with gripping means the closing flaps, indicated overall with 40, associated with at least part of a surrounding 32 of the through-hole 30, in particular that part on which the weight of the entire package 10 then goes to bear when in an operative position.
- the through-hole 30 is thus much more resistant to the weight force of the package 10 weighting on its surrounding 32 when hung on hooks or fastening elements, since the closing flaps 241 and 242 go to constitute, thanks to the presence of the gripping means 40, an area of material having greater strength and tenacity.
- said gripping means comprise a seal 401 made on at least part of a surrounding 32 of the through hole 30, illustrated with a diagonal hatching 32' in figure 2 .
- the seal 401 is advantageously made on the entire circumference 32 of the through hole 30, thereby contributing to the strengthening of the die-cutting surface 26 in the entire circumference 32 of the through hole 30, which is thus more resistant to a possible occurrence of sudden loads on the package 10, for example due to transversal pushes caused by a hand of a user hitting the package 10 and not being able to simply pick up the handkerchief 12.
- the gripping means of the closure flaps are constituted by bonding means, realised for example by means of a continuous and compact layer of glue 402 spread along at least part of a circumference 32 of the through-hole 30 between the two closure flaps 241 and 242, a circumference always illustrated with a diagonal hatching 32' in Figure 5 .
- the glue layer 402 is inserted along 2/3 of the circumference 32 to form a circular sector which preferably, in the operating condition of the package 10 suspended and/or engaged in a stable position through its hole 30, goes to interfere with hooks or suspension means used for the purpose for which to ensure a certain and stable holding of the hole 30.
- the package for items and products 10 provides for a plurality of through-holes 30 in the number of two and three respectively.
- the plurality of through-holes allows for a more stable placement of the package, which can be placed in positions other than simply suspended around the single through-hole. It also allows the weight and any occasional stresses to be distributed over several holes, thus increasing the strength and durability of the pack.
- FIG. 9 a third and further possible embodiment of the gripping means of the closure flaps according to the invention is illustrated, which are constituted by gripper means 403, such as, for example, clips or similar, preferably applied to the entire circumference of the through-holes 30.
- gripper means 403 such as, for example, clips or similar, preferably applied to the entire circumference of the through-holes 30.
- Figure 8 illustrates the invention applied to a different type of package 30 commercially in use, typically obtained by processing by pulling down an upper flap to form an upper flap 246 which adheres to at least part of a lower closing flap 245 and, subsequently folding the side flaps to form respective triangular developments, further side closing flaps 243 and 244 are folded and flattened on said lower flap 245.
- the package 10 may have a die-cutting surface 26 centrally provided with an area of maximum thickness 27 consisting substantially of number three 243-245 or number four overlapping closing flaps 243-246.
- the above-described solution whereby the package for items and products 10 is provided with at least one through-hole 30 made by perforating at least three closing flaps 243-245 and sometimes also four closing flaps 243-246, guarantees a superior tightness of the die-cutting surface 26 since the stresses acting around the through-hole 30 are supported by the greater number of closing flaps present.
- said area of maximum thickness is constituted by yet a greater number of closure flaps, for example eight, since it is obtained by turning the final part of the plurality of closure flaps on itself until it adheres to the previous surface generating a different and thicker die-cutting surface on which to make the through hole.
- the strength of the relevant holes is thus increased as well as their tenacity and resistance to stress.
- the packaging for items and products according to the invention naturally follows from the consideration that the same is engaged and/or committed to support itself in a certain and desired position for a user by means of hooks and suspension means that go to engage within one or more through-holes 30.
- the packaging 10 is fixed, the items and products 12 are advantageously available to a user in a desired position for which there is no need to touch the body 20, for example to stop it in order to be able to extract its contents and use them. Therefore, the solution according to the invention is maximally hygienic.
- a variant of the package for items and products as described with reference to figure 8 requires the presence of gripper means, for example clips acting on one or more through holes preferably obtained on the area of maximum thickness, thus realising a packaging that is maximally robust and resistant to the stresses that may be acting on the same package.
- gripper means for example clips acting on one or more through holes preferably obtained on the area of maximum thickness
- the invention can be applied to the most varied type of package for items and products suitable to be readily dispensed and/or made usable through openings or similar present on a body of the same package, which can present the most varied type of closure flaps differently processed to form a die-cutting surface on which to make the through holes prepared according to the invention

It comprises a body (20) ending with a plurality of closing flaps (24) wherein on at least one pair of said closing flaps (241-242; 243-247) there is at least one through hole (30) suitable for being engaged by hooks and/or suspension elements for certain positioning of the same package (10). A peculiarity of the invention is that a package for items and products (10) comprises gripping means of the closing flaps (40) associated with at least part of a surrounding (32) of the through hole (30).
Description
- The applicant has identified and circumscribed, with the present document, the possibility of being able to place these types of packs, in particular those in the "tissue" field, in a certain position so that their contents can be simply used by a user, possibly without any contact with the package itself for basically hygienic reasons, for example hanging or fixed to appropriate supports and/or hooks.
- In the field, it is known to make packages where, typically during the processing of plastic films, by means of appropriate folding, shearing, punching and sealing operations, a longitudinal opening, typically shaped like a handle, is obtained on the side of the body of the package itself, which is obtained by punching two edges of the plastic film adjacent to each other. Such openings have the relevant film flaps detached from each other and are poorly resistant to grip over time, as well as to weight if the package is eventually hooked or suspended from a support or hook through said opening.
- In order to achieve said purposes, the object of the present utility model is a package for items and products suitable for being readily dispensed and/or made usable through openings or similar on a body of said package, according to the features of the appended claims.
- The invention relates to a package for items and products suitable for being readily dispensed and/or made usable through openings or similar present on a body of the same package, the package comprising a main body ending in a plurality of closing flaps. A peculiarity of the invention is that on at least one pair of aforementioned closing flaps there is present at least one through-hole suitable to be engaged by hooks and/or suspension elements for certain positioning of the same package, the package for items and products comprising means for gripping the closing flaps associated with at least part of a surrounding of the through-hole.
- Advantageously, the package is resistant due to the presence of the gripping means precisely at the points of the hole where it is most stressed by its weight, i.e. in a surrounding of the same.
- One advantage is that it is easy, practical, and economical to reinforce each hole.
- Another advantage is to have a lightweight package with great flexibility of use, as it can be attached and suspended in a variety of ways and positions.
- Further purposes, characteristics and advantages of the present invention will be clear from the following detailed description of some preferred examples of application, provided purely by way of explanation and not limitation of the invention with the aid of the appended figures, wherein:
-
Figure 1 represents in a perspective view a preferred embodiment of a package for items and products according to the invention; -
Figures 2, 3 and 4 respectively show a plan view, a view according to a cross section and a relative perspective section of a detail of the package for items and products offigure 2 illustrating a first preferred embodiment of the invention; -
Figures 5, 6 and 7 represent respectively a plan view, a view according to a cross section and a relative perspective section of a particular of the package for items and products offigure 2 illustrating a second preferred embodiment of the invention; -
Figure 8 represents in perspective view, another preferred embodiment of a package for items and products according to the invention; -
Figures 9 and 10 represent two variants of the package for items and products offigure 2 , where in particular, figure 9 shows a third preferred embodiment of the invention. - With reference to said figures,
figure 10 illustrates in its entirety a first preferred embodiment of a package for items and products suitable for being readily dispensed and/or made usable through openings or similar present on a body of the same package. The package for items andproducts 10 comprises abody 20 provided with anopening 22, transverse to thebody 20, suitable for dispensing items and products, for exampledisposable type handkerchiefs 12, and arranged in such a way as to make them continuously accessible to a user from the outside, for example with thehandkerchiefs 12 arranged in a known manner such that, when a user removes one, a flap of a subsequent handkerchief remains outside theopening 22 and therefore accessible. Thebody 20, typically made in a known manner by folding plastic films rather than paper reels and similar, terminates in a plurality ofclosure flaps 24 which are approached in contact to make a die-cutting surface 26 in order to make at least one throughhole 30. - More specifically, and with particular reference to
figures 1 ,9, 10 , it is noted the presence of a pair ofclosure flaps cutting surface 26 provided with at least one throughhole 30 suitable to engage with hooks and/or suspension elements for a certain and stable positioning of thesame package 10, so that a user can reach its content without touching itsbody 20. - With particular reference to
Figures 2-7 , the package for items andproducts 10 is advantageously provided with gripping means the closing flaps, indicated overall with 40, associated with at least part of a surrounding 32 of the through-hole 30, in particular that part on which the weight of theentire package 10 then goes to bear when in an operative position. The through-hole 30 is thus much more resistant to the weight force of thepackage 10 weighting on its surrounding 32 when hung on hooks or fastening elements, since theclosing flaps - More specifically, and with reference to a first embodiment of the invention of
figures 2-4 , said gripping means comprise aseal 401 made on at least part of a surrounding 32 of thethrough hole 30, illustrated with adiagonal hatching 32' infigure 2 . In the improved form of the illustrated invention, theseal 401 is advantageously made on theentire circumference 32 of the throughhole 30, thereby contributing to the strengthening of the die-cutting surface 26 in theentire circumference 32 of the throughhole 30, which is thus more resistant to a possible occurrence of sudden loads on thepackage 10, for example due to transversal pushes caused by a hand of a user hitting thepackage 10 and not being able to simply pick up thehandkerchief 12. - With reference to a second embodiment of the invention illustrated in
Figures 5-7 , the gripping means of the closure flaps are constituted by bonding means, realised for example by means of a continuous and compact layer ofglue 402 spread along at least part of acircumference 32 of the through-hole 30 between the twoclosure flaps diagonal hatching 32' inFigure 5 . In the following example, theglue layer 402 is inserted along 2/3 of thecircumference 32 to form a circular sector which preferably, in the operating condition of thepackage 10 suspended and/or engaged in a stable position through itshole 30, goes to interfere with hooks or suspension means used for the purpose for which to ensure a certain and stable holding of thehole 30. - Reference is now made to a couple of variants of the first embodiment of making the
package 10 described above as illustrated inFigures 9 and 10 respectively, wherein the package for items andproducts 10 provides for a plurality of through-holes 30 in the number of two and three respectively. Advantageously, the plurality of through-holes allows for a more stable placement of the package, which can be placed in positions other than simply suspended around the single through-hole. It also allows the weight and any occasional stresses to be distributed over several holes, thus increasing the strength and durability of the pack. - In the detail of
figure 9 , a third and further possible embodiment of the gripping means of the closure flaps according to the invention is illustrated, which are constituted by gripper means 403, such as, for example, clips or similar, preferably applied to the entire circumference of the through-holes 30. This solution advantageously guarantees a particular strength and holding capacity to the stresses of theholes 30 themselves. -
Figure 8 illustrates the invention applied to a different type ofpackage 30 commercially in use, typically obtained by processing by pulling down an upper flap to form an upper flap 246 which adheres to at least part of a lower closing flap 245 and, subsequently folding the side flaps to form respective triangular developments, furtherside closing flaps package 10 may have a die-cutting surface 26 centrally provided with an area ofmaximum thickness 27 consisting substantially of number three 243-245 or number four overlapping closing flaps 243-246. Advantageously, the above-described solution whereby the package for items andproducts 10 is provided with at least one through-hole 30 made by perforating at least three closing flaps 243-245 and sometimes also four closing flaps 243-246, guarantees a superior tightness of the die-cutting surface 26 since the stresses acting around the through-hole 30 are supported by the greater number of closing flaps present. - In a variant of the embodiment of
figure 8 not illustrated, said area of maximum thickness is constituted by yet a greater number of closure flaps, for example eight, since it is obtained by turning the final part of the plurality of closure flaps on itself until it adheres to the previous surface generating a different and thicker die-cutting surface on which to make the through hole. The strength of the relevant holes is thus increased as well as their tenacity and resistance to stress. - The use of the packaging for items and products according to the invention naturally follows from the consideration that the same is engaged and/or committed to support itself in a certain and desired position for a user by means of hooks and suspension means that go to engage within one or more through-
holes 30. Once thepackaging 10 is fixed, the items andproducts 12 are advantageously available to a user in a desired position for which there is no need to touch thebody 20, for example to stop it in order to be able to extract its contents and use them. Therefore, the solution according to the invention is maximally hygienic. - It is clear that further variants are possible for the man skilled in the art to the package for items and products suitable to be readily dispensed and/or made usable through openings or similar present on a body of the same package, just as it is clear that in its practical implementation the shapes of the illustrated details may be different and the same may be replaced with technically equivalent elements.
- For example, a variant of the package for items and products as described with reference to
figure 8 , requires the presence of gripper means, for example clips acting on one or more through holes preferably obtained on the area of maximum thickness, thus realising a packaging that is maximally robust and resistant to the stresses that may be acting on the same package. - The invention can be applied to the most varied type of package for items and products suitable to be readily dispensed and/or made usable through openings or similar present on a body of the same package, which can present the most varied type of closure flaps differently processed to form a die-cutting surface on which to make the through holes prepared according to the invention
