- the retaining recesses 542, 543 of each pair are diametrically opposite to each other, and all the retaining recesses 542, 543 are angularly spaced apart from one another.
- the mount projection 526 has two pegs 527 which project to engage in selected ones of the retaining recesses 542, 543 to retain the knob piece 502 to the adjusting piece 501.
- the adjusting unit 50 further includes a biasing spring 504 which is disposed between the screw 503 and the adjusting piece 501 so as to bias the retaining recesses 542, 543 toward the pegs 527.
- the operating portion 54 is first pulled (the biasing spring 504 is compressed) to remove the retaining recesses 542 from the pegs 527, and is then turned to the slidable position, where the flat surface segments 531 are parallel to the arcuate slot 25 and the curve surface segments 532 are removed from the round hole 253 so as to permit sliding movement of the adjusting piece 501 along the arcuate slot 25 to the desired supporting position. Finally, the operating portion 54 is released to permit engagement of the retaining recesses 543 with the pegs 527 by means of biasing action of the biasing spring 504.
